Yeah... No. I'm not even that much of a Transformers fan outside of loving the 2007 film at the time of release and still liking it today (didn't see most of the sequels) and some faint, fading but fond memories of Beast Wars as a kid (I liked the CobraScorpion guy) but even I can tell the voice acting, dialogue, vibe and tone is way way off. The biomechanical tentacled Cuthulu-ish villain looks cool at least. |

When you read the comics now it's easy to see that Prime seems more interested in dying for his cause (which he does several times) than in peace and prosperity for all. Megatron is stuck being the villain but kinda has a point with his rebellion. There is so much they could do with that dynamic, but outside of a few one-shots it doesn't get explored very much. |
