Leela (Louise Jameson), primitive and dangerous, but intelligent and compassionate, is far and away my personal favorite.

Of the other classic female companions, Ace (Sophie Aldred) and Mel (Bonnie Langford) would probably rank second and third. Martha Jones (Freeman Agyeman) is my favorite modern companion - I think it's a tossup between her and Mel for my personal overall third place.

Very much a modern viewer of Dr Who with my kids so would go with Billie, Freema and Jenna, rather than the ladies from older series.

I was surprised at the downblouse shots of Billie (New Earth) and Freema (Shakespeare Code) in Dr Who episodes, surprised but rather enjoyable.

Plus all three ladies have put their assets on display for our delectation.

Katy is a hugger and she's full of energy, dresses and acts young. She's quite petite. She is a real people person. I know this from personal experience.
