I was in the middle of looking at her pictorial when I found out the sad news to be completely honest. She's without a doubt my all time favorite Playmate and I'm sure she enhanced the lives of many generations throughout the years. Cynthia Myers is without a doubt the true definition of a classic.

In the days since Hugh Hefner’s announcement, news of Cynthia’s death has been tragically overlooked by most media sources, and no word of the cause of her death has been officially made. However, via Cynthia’s former manager and friend Siouxan Perry of Girlwerks Media, I can tell you that Cynthia lost a battle with lung cancer. She was 61. http://popcultureaddict.com/

Yes, drinking alcohol causes Breast Cancer and she had voluptuous breasts that were football shaped or bullet shaped.
The thread about here has disappeared. I found some new images of her, but I dont think it is appropriate to show them in this time of mourning of her. I am almost 57 and have been diagnosed with Melanoma of the skin from Sunburn when I was a child. It takes about 50 year to get this disease. Yes, if the tests come back positive and they are malignant, then I may die too. May Jehovah rest her soul in heaven and paradise. She is an angel now. She always was. |

http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com...hia-myers.html I am sorry to hear of your melanoma. That is very very serious. That's why I go to the dermatologist every year. Good luck with yours.

Yes, cancer is a bastard. We should be devoting every resource to fighting it in all its forms. My ma passed recently of a particularly aggressive form of cancer - pancreatic cancer. BEST WISHES. Hope you kick cancer's ass. |

Here is the announcement Victoria posted about Cindy's memorial on the Playboy Mailing List (PML), through Mark Tomlonson:
Victoria Valentino has asked me to send this message to the PML: Cynthia Myers, Miss December 1968, One of the Top 100 Centerfolds of the Century and Star of Russ Meyer's cult film, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, who passed away November 3, 2011, at home a month after the passing of her husband Mike, will be memorialized in a special Memorial Service, officiated by Victoria Valentino, Miss September 1963, also, One of the Top 100 Centerfolds of the Century, and eulogized by Steve Sullivan, author of Bombshells, Glamour Girls Then and Now. It will be attended by her family and many who loved and admired her and who had remained her friends throughout the years. As you know, Victoria started a Fundrazr on Facebook, to be able to provide Cynthia with the best, most loving and respectful going away party that could be given ever, as funds were so minimal that her son was unable to hold a service, let alone provide for his wife and four little children after his parents' passing. We are so happy to announce that in addition to surpassing our stated financial goal from all of you wonderful Fans, Hef, bless him for his generosity, has donated VERY generously towards making this Memorial a proper one. We will do Cynthia proud and give her grandbabies a good Christmas, too! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Date: January 14th, Saturday. Time: 11 a.m. Place: Mountainview Cemetery 2400 North Fair Oaks Ave. Altadena, CA 91001

Cynthia Myers December 1968
One of my all time favorites - So sad to hear about her demise. GOD in his almighty wisedom decided it was her time on Earth and time to move on to the Pearly Gates. Cynthia, unknown to most; visited fighting Troops in Vietnam during those USO tours. I am sure that all who visits page / site will always pay tribute to all the wonderful things she contributed her self to. Cynthia really made an impact throughout her life. This is in memory of you Dear; may you never be forgotten. She was special ... Thanx to all, Last edited by tkappel1; September 28th, 2014 at 05:09 AM.. |
