If You Were An Animal (Or something) What One Would You Be And Why ?

Initially i thought a Ram would be kind of okay. Unless it was one of my own.
Odds on i'd end up a wether Even if you were one of the chosen few, you'd still only be good for a certain number of years. If you stopped 'chalking' ewes you'd soon wind up mutton. No pension plan for these guys.

Then i thought a beaver (did i spell that right? ) Would be kinda nice, as monogamy is kinda nicer.
There was a now extinct strain of beaver the size of a bear, which probably explains why it's extinct?
Then i realised the numbers of the smaller cousins are on the decline also, so i turned to home.

I like sharks, as you probably already know, but they don't have it easy!

The ridiculous thing is that people usually cheer the hunting of sharks, because occasionally a swimmer gets gnawed on. But for every person who is actually killed by a shark, one million sharks are killed by people.

Cows kill more people each year than sharks. Of course, we're going to kill the cows anyway, so no need to seek additional vengeance there. But really, the only reason that sharks are seen as villains is that they attack people in tourist areas. If someone is killed by a bear in the deep woods (equally rare, of course), or a farmer is rammed by a bull and dies, no one thinks it's a big deal. But when a rich kid has his leg chewed on... by God, we need to stop that!

Of course, if someone I knew got bit by a shark, I'd want the thing dead too. I'm realistic enough to know that there's a hypocrite in me.

Oh... what animal would I want to be? Probably a house cat, but only if it lived with someone like me, who spoiled it silly. A lot of people are cruel to cats... and I'd like to be cruel to those people.
