Just a bit to add to Zuckerman's excellent post. Having a bit of experience with the subject I may be able to add to the subject.

Not all women can be fisted, nor would they want to. But some women absolutely love it. Particularly (in my experience), ladies that have had several natural child births. That process, naturally, expands the birth canal and can desensitize (to some extent) the area. Thus normal intercourse, although still pleasurable, doesn't offer the same bang for the buck (so to speak) as it did before the child births.

I have personally seen women, whom have had children, have unbelievable orgasms from fisting. Since I'm not a woman I can't tell you exactly why but I can tell you that, with the right woman, it can be an unbelievable experience for them. I can remember one lady that had never done it before have the most intense orgasm of her life (so she told me), squirt a gallon (something she also had never done before), faint for a few moments and finally kept her arms around me for the rest of the night. And virtually every time we met after that, she always wanted me to do it again.

Again, its not for everyone, but certainly worth consideration. It can be a very powerful experience.

I guess a couple of us have made a defense of 'fisting' as a real-life practice that can be safe and sexy, but the original point was about fisting as a porn practice.

Take baseball bats. In a real-world context you have an innocuous game of rounders, just with bigger salaries. But put one within 10 feet of Audrey Hollander and you have something that makes you want to call a paramedic.

Of course, it's the First Law of Porn: over time, all porn practices tend towards the extreme. (Or is the First Law: you don't talk about porn?).

Same thing happens in the Hollywood mainstream, doesn't it? The bangs just keep having to get bigger and more frequent?

So, at the risk of sounding like someone who is indifferent to exploitation and manipulation of women in the porn industry, isn't there a place for the extreme in the sense that what might be way out there for the average woman is, to seasoned porn performers, a walk in the park?

I'm all for really tough union representation for porn performers and strict codes of practice for agents and producers. But I wonder if, even in that ideal framework, an Audrey or a Belladonna or an Aurora might still explore acts that might shock and awe.

But that's always a dilemma for the consumer of porn: is what I am watching consensual, in a meaningful sense of that word?

The trouble is, what counts as evidence of informed consent? The stock answer is: she doesn't have to do it and is being well paid. I'm not so sure: we know there are tough pressures in the industry on performers. And what about personal histories: should we demand a detailed psych report from a qualified therapist that every time a woman gets double-fisted we aren't watching an episode of self-harm?

And there's a whole seedy underbelly to mainstream smut that thrives on the appearance (or worse) of harm and humiliation. But how do we separate out fantasy and reality, coercion or consent, or decide if there's a correlation between acts depicted in porn and real-life consequences for women as a whole?

Maybe we'll never know unless all porn is made by women (with tough codes), and perhaps for women. What would it look like? Soft focus, romantic, touchy-feely? Feminists say: it won't matter because female desire is male desire - the playing field is already run on male rules. But I have also been told by someone who has seen hard lesbian porn made by and for lesbians, that hetero SM porn is pansy-ass compared to their stuff.

My own compromise is like chicken. I'll pay a little more for free range, having convinced myself the birds lead more contented lives. But I still eat 'em and when there's nothing else on the shelf I'll grab some cage-raised if I have to rather than change my diet. But this metaphor won't really do, because it can't account for the fact there might just be a secret thrill in knowing that your spicy wings emerged from an industry which has conditions in it that make the term battery only too apt.

let me play a foil here. whether at times i might find it erotic (usually female to female) and other times a turnoff, might be secondary to other considerations. even the porn industry considers or advertises the practice as extreme or perverse (perhaps just for seedy marketing purposes), especially for double (triple even) fisting (in one or both orifices) in media products. however, the physiological consequences can also be extreme. i am not a doctor or a nurse but i have had considerable experience with the medical care industry, examining health and disability claims. some recent years ago i also read mag interviews with porn stars who practiced the extreme and did experience some of these difficulties. in short, extreme behavior may produce scarring and disease, increase the risks at some later time for anal or vaginal/uterine prolapse and the resultant emotional distress that comes with it. these prolapsed conditions can be either natural (genetic) or induced. still there may that rare human who could envelop a tree trunk everyday for the rest of their lives and suffer no ill effects. they are the exception and not the rule. so perhaps an old adage can help. practice very carefully; in moderation and enjoy.

Thanks Tabler, that's the funniest thing I've read on this forum for months.

I was searching through the forum for a place to post a few G /G anal fisting photos when I found this thread.

My feelings are simple - I don't care less what people enjoy doing or wanking over as long as it isn't criminal and doesn't involve coercion.

I suspect my taste is down to a desire to see women sexually subjugated.

I only like to see female on female fisting, and I prefer female on female in all hardcore. Why female on female? Because I've little interest in looking at other men's bodies, and would rather see 100% women than 50/50 male/female.
