Another great movie from the 1970's is "Go Tell the Spartans"
staring Burt Lancaster. It's about the early U.S. involvement (1964)in the Viet Nam war.I purchased it on VHS tape but don't know if it was ever released on DVD. If you get the chance it's well worth watching.

A few of my favorites.
Enter The Dragon (1973) Mad Max (1979) Rollerball (1975) The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) - the tooth removal scene was hilarious. |

Some less known or forgotten films.
Three Days of the Condor (USA, 1975) by Sydney Pollack with Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway Monsieur Klein (France, Italy, 1976) by Joseph Losey with Alain Delon, Jeanne Moreau State of Siege (France, Italy, West Germany, 1972) by Costa-Gavras with Yves Montand, Renato Salvatori, O.E. Hasse And this one you will definitely not know. Jacob the Liar (East Germany, 1975) by Frank Beyer with Vlastimil Brodsky, Erwin Geschonneck, Henry Hübchen Jacob the Liar was the only East German production which was nominated for the Oscar. In the category 'best foreign language film'. |

Let's not forget the ones that are so bad they're good.
At the top of my list is Damnation Alley. The combined acting talents of George Peppard, Jan Michael Vincent, AND Dominique Sanda couldn't save this turkey - but damn, that flick had a cool motorhome! |

^^Speaking of motor homes, let's not forget "Race With The Devil" starring Peter Fonda, Warren Oates and Loretta Swit.
