If they'd pursued his 'brainwave' of a 39th match, or even sold Wembley....they wouldn't need to embarrass the guy by sending
a begging-bowl around the Prem clubs he's enriched.

Why can't they just have a Dinner at the Savoy/Dorchester to praise him ?

Is he in debt?... Can't pay his Council Tax ?

What a bloomin SAD Send-Off

Apparently not, notices withdrawn as concerns over his fitness.

Make your minds up owners.

The world of football is very much out of touch with the so called common man. Scudamore has come up with a completely idiotic ideas and they even included a proposal to reduce matches to an hour to make it more exciting to an American audience. He is a money man but the PL would have been a success despite him. Yet like parasitic agents he gets handsomely rewarded like some footballers for being little more than average.

Everyone is banging on about the former Persimmon CEO's payoff and rightly so because it is obscene and not justified in terms of success. It occurs because these people can.

If the clubs have any sense they should say no. And if they do he as an individual should do the decent thing and donate it to grass roots football, or charities that look after former footballers especially those of an early vintage who have serious medical issues and who were paid a pittance. It has gone from one extreme to the other.

West Ham should tell Nasri where to go. He is a sulky so and so and typical of the class of footballer who think they are above the general population because of what they earn when all they are doing is kicking a bag of air hoping to knock it in between two posts. He should count his lucky stars he is even being allowed to carry on his chosen profession.

Do that in another walk of life and you would be sacked without a chance to return to it.

Understatement of the week Sir! City are a class above us, we look and play like a mid-table team.

We need a billionaire owner to invest in us like Sheikh Rattle & Roll has invested in City, and probably a new manager would not go amiss.

Until then we remain the underachievers of the Premiership.

The Nasri saga continues as its being reported the he is currently training with us to prove his fitness in an attempt to win a contract. Lets hope he fails, then again it did not stop the Benny the burger deal.

What an unbelievably stupid thing to do Daniel Sturridge has let himself down-we don't know the full ins & outs and so far they are standing by him but he could be in serious trouble if found guilty.

Ah Nasri.... so talented, a pure jewel, but his behavior pose problems for years now...

England 2 USA 0 so far so good Jesse Lingard and Trent Alexander-Arnold for his first ever goal for England. Rooney not on yet, maybe second half to take the armband from Fabian Delph. We really should be burying the USA in this game. Keeping an ear out for the Croatia v Spain result-we need Croatia to get something out of that game and that would give us a chance to beat them Saturday(we hope)

Default Croatia 3-2 Spain

Quote:
Croatia gained a dramatic late winner to beat Spain in the Nations League - a result which keeps alive England's hopes of winning the tournament.
It means all three countries can finish top of Group A4, with England taking on Croatia in the last match on Sunday.
