In this case it was a hooker, i.e. a street prostitute and therefore very risky, it's just that she was quite cute and I'm missing a woman's touch at the mo. I can of course satiate myself, and if I really wanted I could just get an escort which is totally legal but I've never been that convinced about it.

It was just a surprise to be propositioned and I found it quite hard to say no.

That is true of many, but there are also many who choose the life of an escort/prostitute. Its a good way for them to make lots of money in a very short time. The girl I mentioned in an earlier post I know quite well and have done for years in a friendship only manner. She chose to do what she does because of the money she can make. She already has paid off her home, has enough to fund her degree and lives a comfortably life. at no point was she coerced, abused, trafficked or pimped out by criminals.

If you are going to use a prostitute, as with many things in life you get what you pay for. Cheap often does mean its someone whose life is not their own. They are not doing it out of choice. However if you pay £300+ an hour, as she charges, then its a completely different story.

I've never had the opportunity, but have thought about it.

My only two worries would be diseases and cops. With my luck it would be some aids infested woman or an undercover cop.

I've also thought about those Asian massage parlors. I've watched several videos on those and it does seem ummm intriguing. The ones where the girl is just kinda going through the motions doesn't seem very interesting. But some of the girls really get into it, or are good at acting like they're into it. If I could find one of the girls that really got into it, that could be a fun time, and worth the money.

Going back 30 years, I was working in run down area of Bradford and I was approached by a young lass and offered 'business' she was no older than 19 and had the typical student shoes and coat but had bare legs. In places like France, Holland, Germany and Belgium, prostitution is legal and open and regulated. The girls pay tax and have medical exams and work in hostess bars so there is no street walking scenario. It is safer for the girls and safer and cleaner for the punters. Many of the girls do it to raise a bit of extra money and just go in or out of the job as circumstances dictate. I mentioned in another post that a while ago I dated a sex worker and met quite a number of her friends and co-workers. Many were married or in stable relationships (one had a husband who was an IT manager for a large bank) and all were pretty normal women, you would not have known to look at them. A significant number were educated, graduate (even one post-grad) Eastern Europeans who were earning money to take back to their home countries in order to establish more conventional businesses there.

But really, with things like Tinder being so popular now, I can't see the difference. Both practices offer meaningless, emotionless, no strings sex. You go to a hostess bar for sex and pay and get a girl. You go on Tinder to get a girl for sex without paying. The main difference is when you pay, you get the added assurance that the girl you get is clean, disease free and pays her taxes and you are far less likely to wake up in a bath of icy water with no kidneys.

For what it is worth, I will write about my last encounter with a prostitute. (Spoiler: It was not consummated.)

It was in a town in the Philipppines in the 1990s. A man standing on the pavement led me to - not to a brothel - not even to a building - but to an empty patch of land, open to the sky, where a few girls and the madame were sitting or standing around. There were a few low walls left from a building that had been demolished. The madame was exactly as you would like a madame to be, a pleasant, buxom woman in her forties.

I chose a girl and paid the arranged price, I don't remember what it was. A man suddenly appeared in front of me to take the money. I looked at the girl with the question, Should I pay him? and she nodded, Yes. So, unless I gave her a tip, the transction would not put any money in her pocket, only pay off part of the loan she had received.

We went to a sort of motel at the edge of the town. Like all educated people in the Philippines, she spoke English quite well. Talking in the room, she told me she was 19, which pleased me, though I realised she would stay 19 for a few years, just as other women stay 29 or 39; but if she was older, it was only a year or two. I told her my true age, 43, and she repeated it thoughtfully, as if wondering whether it was true, or comparing it with her father. She told me she was studying - she wasn't sure how to pronounce it - midwifery. I said cheerfully it was a good choice, with the high birth rate in the Philippines. She said nothing. She knew as well as I did that one of the misfortunes of that country is that there are too many qualified people - too many qualified midwives and nurses and hotel housekeepers and receptionists and primary schoolteachers and legal secretaries . . . and the same is true for male occupations. Among the tens of thousands of Filipinas working as maids in the Middle East and South-East Asia, I'm sure there are lots of qualified midwives.

When she was naked, I looked at her a little too hard for a moment, and she said, "Don't gaze!" I turned her over and kissed her down her spine, and the silly girl started a rhythmic gasping, pretending to be excited; I didn't know how to tell her tactfully to stop it. She glanced professionally at my penis, and I could see her thinking, That's all right, that'll be easy to take.

But when I was kneeling over her, preparing to enter her, something turned. I don't know whether it was the colour of the skin of her groin, or the look of her pubic hair, or the shape of her hips and waist, but I turned against her, and lost all desire and hardness.

I lay beside her and she tugged my penis for a couple of minutes. It was completely unerotic. When I got up, saying, Thank you, indicating it was over, she was - to my own surprise - surprised and offended.

I heard myself blabbering, "It's all right - No problem - There's nothing wrong - I'm all right - I'm not annoyed - It's fine - " She asked, "Were you thinking of your wife?" and of course I said "Yes," though I wasn't. After I said yet again, "No problem," she started saying, "My mother has a problem -" then abruptly stopped. She knew she couldn't ask for any more money.

I thought she would be pleased to have earned the money without needing to have sex, but I was completely wrong. In the taxi returning she was sullen and hardly spoke. Perhaps I had made her feel that she was unattractive. She was a good-looking girl, but subdued in manner, and not sexy. Perhaps she was annoyed that she could not get a tip. Perhaps she simply felt that our transaction was over and she no longer needed to be polite to me, let alone friendly.

I dropped her off, saying with firm politeness, "Goodbye, Lisa." She ignored me.

I have been with a few girls, with generally mixed results. A few were great, a few were disappointing, the rest in the middle, i.e. ok. The one I had most fun with, I saw a few times, but then she disappeared - either moved, or decided to stop.
