i have win 7 / firefox 6.01 and there are no problems.

that it works on your laptop says:
- the image host is not the problem
- VEF is not the problem
- your ISP is not the problem.

how much RAM do you have on your Win7 PC? Win7 needs lot more than XP, you should have at least 4GB to run your system properly. 6 GB is recommended.

Excuse please the late answer, hos. I ate straight something.

I have 4GB RAM, Intel Quad Core, 2 HD/512GB.
If I start Win7 new, then the Task-Mangager says 869MB used.
Then starting only Firefox, 955MB RAM used.
I open a page with many pictures in the VEF, 1.08GB used.

If I start the single post view, then the pictures visible immediately as they would be taken from the Cache.

Supplement:
I loaded the page http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t16...-exciting.html
Now 47 pictures will be show.
I open all posts as single view (new tab). All pictures will be show.
I refresh the page and all pictures will be show on the page.

Svoda - are you using a wireless connection ? it sounds to me like a bandwidth or signal strength problem ... have you tried a speed test ? (hxXxp://www.speedtest.net/) ...

i would also try going back to firefox 3 (or use another browser) to rule out later version conflicts

svoda, also try disabling some software (just short time for testing) step by step which listens to your ports:

- viruskiller
- spamblocker
- firewall
(...whatever you have...)

to exclude an issue/conflict with those tools.

(same with eventual browser plugins)

sorry, but that's a quite senseless suggestion. firefox 6 works fine, so if it's an issue with firefox i would rather recommend to deinstall and reinstall the new version again.

for me they still work, it looks hardly like a cache problem, if not from your browser, then may from a proxy somewhere in the middle of the connection from your ISP to P&H.

(or P&H has problems asap if you're online and when I check, the servers are up again. but as far as my experience with P&H goes, this would be rather unplausible )

nah firefox 6 nearly works fine, still has bugs with some sites, downgrading is the answer for a die hard ff user ... simply first thing to check is if the problem happens with another browser,if it doesn't then downgrade

btw most of the firefox nasties happened at version 4 so 3.??? is a sensible option

your right usually if there denied before getting to your browser (isp, host, firewall e.t.c ..) they just don't show (like an empty post) but i wouldn't rule it out ff yet ...

i dumped firefox on version 4,but as soon as 5 came out i was back quicker than a rat up a drainpipe (or me up megan fox given half the chance )

btw the missing images thing happened to me again last night but it my case its because of a crappy mobile internet connection (which is why i say svoda check yours, its usually always the simplest thing) to make sure you actually are missing images you could try quoting the post and switching editor mode (top right of the reply box ) should give you the links ...

you could always try flushing your internet cache "tools" -> "clear recent history"

Question PimpAndHost problem

I'm not seeing anything (no thumbnails that is) by people using PimpAndHost. I usually use Firefox, but it is also happening with Opera and IE. Anybody else having this problem?
