Does anyone know anything about newdigitalmagazines.com
Hi All,
Ive been trying to track down a couple of magazines but not had much luck. Has anyone heard of newdigitalmagazines.com, used them, or know if they are legit or not? Was thinking of ordering something, but you can never be to sure. cheers |

newdigitalmagazines.com claims to be a part of the wonderclub.com /wonderclub enterprises... which doesn't tell me anything. Anyways the code on their page does not supply ownership information.
Normally, when a commerce website wishes to sell you something legit, it would not give you their contact phone number on the top of their front (root) page. The phone number given here is similar to the one appearing on sites like swankmagazines and HustlerMagazineBackIssues, both showing a part of the same database, and the latter's IP is 209.44.99.210 A legit site would definitely include a copyright notice and further informative and legal links (e.g., About Us | Terms & conditions | Delivery information | Contact Us | Sitemap) at the bottom of their front page. I think it is clear that the site is not legit for a very simple reason. For example, Hustler doesn't offer digital scans of its back issue magazines. Of course, that doesn't mean that there are no third party individuals who collect and scan the original magazines by themselves and offer them for sale. There are some amateurish websites that offer scanned vintage adult books for a few dollars and do in fact deliver the copies as download links for a period of 24 hours. They do a clean job but still not at all legit! Your purchase details and transaction are processed through a different site domain called Easyusecart but is located on the same server 209.44.99.210 Site Hosted in: Canada. Easyusecart deals with transactions from many similar subdomains, all of which are situated on the same server/s. The McAfee siteadvisor says Easyusecart has no security/spam/scam issues. All said and done, you should ask yourself 2 questions: 1. Would I really get a valid download link to a good quality scan of my magazine of choice? 2. Is my credit card info safe? Answers 1. Maybe you will, maybe you won't... worst case scenario: you lose a few dollars. 2. Maybe it is; maybe it isn't.... worst case scenario: your bank account will be sucked dry. |
