We have a winner already. With an 11-3 record on the week, ourlad is this week's winner. Even if his beloved Steelers take a loss, he's top of the totem pole this week. Congrats, ourlad! Crack open an Iron City!

I've seen lots of fake punts. I have never seen a fake punt return. I love it when a UB Bull makes good in the NFL. If Oliver stays with the Chargers, he'll go against his UB teammate, Khalil Mack, twice a season.

When P. Manning set the TD record I heard Eli tried to call to congratulate him but his call was intercepted.

Perusing this week's schedule from Tyrghat40 and saw this:
Detroit vs. Atlanta at London Which got me to thinking. Are any of our British friends planning on going to this game? |

Gee any one besides me think the NFL schedulers are favoring Manning and the Broncos. I may be wrong but I believe the Broncos are the only team to have a home game before hosting a Thursday game.

Peyton Manning isn't showing much sign of being nearly 40 so far, and I'd back the Broncos against most teams away. I doubt they will lose three games this year. In their next five fixtures, the only one I'd consider a serious threat to them are the Patriots, though San Diego Chargers might stand a chance. Oakland Raiders should save themselves the bother of turning up, and LA Rams and Miami Dolphins aren't that much better off than the Raiders. Denver Broncos are a pretty decent side regardless of how it is scheduled.

It pains me to say this but I believe the Broncos will win. Mainly from their schedule of coming off a home game and getting the Thursday one at home. No real time for the Chargers to prepare plus they must travel. I would love it if the Chargers actually won. Next to the Raiders I detest the Broncos next and Manning is a weenie, IMO.

um, no.
But the St. Louis Rams seem to do better against the Seahawks than Denver has for a while.
