Anyway, I said to her "If you don't stop screaming at me I'm gonna pop you one". We both got silent, and I left the house on an errand. I remember my hands were shaking behind the wheel.

That night during dinner I asked her if she wanted a divorce. She dropped her silverware and looked at me in shock and said "Why would you say something like that ???". I replied "Because, I threatened to hit you today". She replied "But you didn't". I said to her "Remember the promise I made to you ? If I have to walk out that door to keep you safe, I'll do it and we'll work out the questions later". She then apologized to me for pushing things too far. I replied that I should have had more self control. And she said, "Well then, we BOTH have things we need to work on. But no, I don't want a divorce".

All in all, I'd have to say I'm a blessed man......................
Boy, does that sound familiar. Thats exactly what I meant when I said this stays with a woman (probably for a lifetime). Something just sets them off and you (me, we) just have to sit back and let it go in one ear and straight out the other. They don't mean it and, sometimes, I don't think they know what they're doing.

One incident I remember which was really bad. She and I were out of state driving back from visiting her family. Something set her off (probably something I said) and she opens the door and is preparing to jump out. I hit the brakes and slowed down fast which slowed her down. But she still jumped at about 15 mph! I freaked, stopped and got out. Luckily she was unhurt but it took a while to calm her down and hit the road again.

Most sadly, I think that was the moment I realized she wasn't the one. Just didn't think I could spend the rest of my life with her dealing with that. And all because of some ass she met in college who decided she'd make a nice punching bag.

I forgot to mention this after the Bills' win over the Bears. That was the first win for a Buffalo pro football team in Chicago since the AAFC Buffalo Bills beat the Chicago Rockets 39-35 at Soldier Field on November 25, 1948.

Keef has our sigs for another week, congrats! Vic replaces scounds in the basement. Can we assume that the cellar is stocked as usual?

The Bills being 2-0? During the last two games, I have not physically felt the way I have since the 1990's. I don't know if it means anything for the future, but I hope the feeling continues. Which leads me to this:

I'm an old comic book geek. My favorite hero is Green Lantern and I love the concept of the various other color Lanterns of the emotional spectrum. This is the ring of the Blue Lantern Corps. The emotion that powers the Blue Lanterns is hope. I've been wearing it during the games. I've been hoping so much, I'm surprised that it hasn't lit up.

But we shall see how the Bills fare over the next few weeks with games against the Chargers, Texans and Lions. Go Bills!

Nfl getting to technical?, every single play being reviewed to the last toenail movement?, Bears @ Niners come back to win, Kaepernick face just before game ends(jaw crunchin away) a look of stress(enjoyed the game).

Very open stadia($1.3 billion), why leave sections open and not fully surround the field?, plus more paying fans, the RV parking sold out early.

Condoleezza Rice for Commissioner.

It was until RGIII got injured and Cousins messed up my pick, not that it's that difficult.

Due to the way the current season is panning out and my picks are awful , the cellar will soon be bereft of ale.

Only the Browns can save me now.
