The Smelly Bundle Diaries (moved from Things Noticeable by request) - Page 14

His best mate arrived at lunchtime, now suddenly there were two bundles flying around, they talked to each other at great length, pointing and gesticulating, not that a word was understood by the assembled adults,then went into the garden, one going straight to the slide, about three feet high and very safe, the other to the Mark 1s little car, and occupying it without murmur, despite the fact that it is very pink! the two of them occupied themselves happily under, of course adult supervision, which entailed copious amounts of coffee cigarettes and chat.

The bundle was eventually dragged screaming to the bathroom, where with great delight I threw it into the water, leaving Mrs R to rescue, dry and dress it. Shortly afterwards it reappeared to be taken off to its other owners. So you might think a quiet weekend is in store for the old fart. Nope! At seven pm, the mark one arrived, firmly attached to stepsons iphone, watching peppa pig, a cartoon, she is here till tomorrow lunch time, after which perhaps a moment of peace will be enjoyed!

I wouldn't bet on that Rupert! Something, or more likely, someone, will try and ruin that 'Condor moment'!

The investment in Ramjet Hall continues, with the front drive being done this week, now I expected this to take at least a week, but started on Wednesday, rained of for two days and finishewd on Saturday, impressive by any means, the Bundle of course was delighted at watching the digger dig and annoying the nice men, who, for reasons best known to themselves did not pick up the bundle and bury it, despite my pleadings!

Aided by the bundle, I remove the 'landscaping' so beloved by Mrs R from the back garden, this constituted a series of walls and square flower beds, somewhat resembling a second world war defensive position, but built by her parents, they were considered a thing of beauty by Mrs R, they probably where in the seventies, but with the Bundle and the Mark 1 flying around I considered them unsafe.

So aided by the Bundle, I removed them, ready for the nice drive builders to take away. He was useless! Incapable of using a crow bar, and he could not even lift one block at a time, so I gave him a piece of wood which kept him otherwise occupied. I have been advised to take up Gardening, following my soon to start retirement, and I will take serious advice from friend Scounds on his thread about the subject, I must ask him if he has any legal method of restraining bundles whilst doing it, a straight jacket perhaps, or a right hook?

It is a long time since I have posted on here! This is because I am no longer with the bundles granny! But today is a special day! It now being about six foot four, and built like a tank, it started at the age of four, big school!

No pratting about with waiting lists, and attempting to get into a local school! Granny is a teacher, so it is going to her school! Ideal, so ther it was in its school uniform and ready to roll, it got into the car and was strapped in, it left, blowing me a raspberry as it went!
