Default Rag 'n' Bone Men

There are at least three separate rag 'n' bone men who visit our estate. Everyone's familiar with the distinctive calls they use to let you know they're around but recently things have changed.
The calls were usually monosyllabic and belted out at a volume limited by the gentleman's lung capacity. Now they have loudspeakers. Each businesses call has it's own style that states what they're collecting, in an entertaining manner often with humour.

In short they've become creative and I believe the modern rag 'n' bone man's call is developing into an artform.

Dear Twilight fan,

I sincerely wish you that your wildest dream comes true and you meet a real vampire under a romantic moon in an isolated location. I really do.

Sincerely, natural selection.

This reminded me of a quote from Monty Python.

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected? And if so, when the unexpected becomes the expected, what does the expected become if the unexpected is now the expected?

Hmm, I'd say the expected expected or expected2. Though that is a bit Donald Rumsfeld-ish with the known knows and unknown unknowns.

Isn't that a take on the Erwin Schrödinger theory that "The act of observing an event changes the event being observed."
