They're Playing with Fire is a 1984 American erotic thriller film directed by Howard Avedis and starring Sybil Danning, Eric Brown, Andrew Prine, and Paul Clemens. The film reuses some elements from 1974's The Teacher also written and directed by Avedis.
Plot:
Diane (Danning) and her husband, Prof. Michael (Andrew Prine), plan to use Jay (Brown) in order to get a large inheritance from Lillian (K.T. Stevens) and Lettie Stevens (Margaret Wheeler), Michael's mother and grandmother. Michael prefers to wait for his relatives to die of old age, but Diane is bored of her ordinary life and threatens to leave Michael if she does not get the money soon. The two convince Jay to scare Michael's relatives out of the house so they can put them in a retirement home. Jay's attempt is thwarted when the family dog starts barking at him. Distressed, Lillian chases Jay away by shooting at him with a rifle. Shortly after, someone assassinates Lillian and Lettie. Jay runs to the boatyard, where Michael grows suspicious of him. He phones Lillian and Lettie and later discovers they were murdered. Michael accuses Jay, who in turn accuses Michael of wanting to frame him. Promising he will not go to the police, Jay vows to find out who committed the murder.

Vega$ S03E17 Set Up Mar 25, 1981 with Richard Basehart and Simon Oakland.
Nelson (Greg Morris) gets a call from one of his informants who asks Nelson to meet him. Nelson goes there and finds the man dead, that's when someone knocks him out. He then takes out Nelson's gun and puts another one in his hands. He then goes out and tampers with the phone and Nelson's radio. When Nelson wakes up, he tries to call for help but can't, he then tries to use the radio but couldn't. So, he drives off to find a phone. But when he returns, he finds police cars already there. An investigation ensues and they discover that it was Nelson's gun that was used to kill the man. Nelson says he was set up. Dan tries to help and finds out what happened to the phone and his radio. Nelson asks around and gets a lead on a private investigator, so he goes to see his employer who is a lawyer. The man doesn't tell him much because he's actually the one behind the whole thing. It seems like he wanted to stop Nelson's investigations into his porno business.
