I remember one videx movie which had a lady with chipped nail polish and very short nails (funny the things you remember). I think it was meant to be the couple'a first time answering a cintact mag advert. Loved that film but stupidly lent it to someone and never got it back.

Re: Videx films, some time back I discovered pix of my ex (Jackie Fiesta) and I asked then if anyone had any other pix of her and that she had been in hardcore films, at the time I couldn't remember name of company that filmed her, I now remember it was Videx, does anyone remember her or better still have a video clip?? Just put Jackie Fiesta in search box to see how she used to look. Thanks RH

Guys, further developments, I think I know the title of the Videx film that I am searching for, The Models 1 and The Models 2 release date around 1981, in another twist of fate she is in the credits as Chrissie Johns, any ideas on finding a clip will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a bit of help digging some memories out from the grey stuff. Back in 1979 (or poss 80) I went to a clients place. They had a mail order porn business for, as I understood at the time, imported magazines. On the day I went, however they were in the middle of filming a porn film. I got glimpses of some of the protagonists but would not recognise any of them, as at this time I was still a porn virgin. The building was somewhere in the Piccadilly area of Manchester, or certainly in the M1 postcode. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

There used to be a place on one of the side streets just off Shudehill, Mcr, near where it joins Withy Grove. Can't remember the name of the street and a search of a popular online mapping system hasn't helped. My grey matter is failing too it seems.. The old Manchester Guardian newspaper building was just behind it. The whole area has been redeveloped now and I think the row of buildings (which included an excellent second-hand book shop) has gone.

This place had a thriving mail order section and also sold over the counter to "trusted" clients. If I recall it was run by a large, surly character who sat behind a glass screen and said little.

Might this be the place?

Thanks Grouchy (what you doing with my nickname!) but that was not it. I think I know where you mean, and it is not there anymore. In fact some of the streets in that area are not there anymore. No this place was just off Piccadilly, north I think in the Little Lever st Dale st area, or Hope st Chatham st near the bus station I can't really remember which. There were two places I visited here connected to the industry. Both were more of a wholesale distributor type place which was why it was noticeable that they were actually making the stuff. I am sure it was on the first or second floor and reception was staffed by a rather tasty Irish girl. In face I am sure my boss (who for some reason when I visited these clients, always came with me) was giving her one (as it was called in those days)

See though you have made me think of something else, perhaps more will come with time.
