Linda Shockley
Apologies if there is already a thread for this very famous naturist, but I couldn't find one, so here is Linda,
- a cover girl with what I believe to be her Mum on the far right, and an unknown girl between them, - a model inside Spick 192, which also names her. The magazine was dated Nov 1969, so the pictures of Linda were taken no later than 1969. There are a proliferation of pictures of Linda on the net, which due to the sameness of her look and proportions, including her Spick appearance, and her many cover photos on various magazines, suggest that all may all have been taken over one summer, and that she was of age. At the time of her modelling, she very often appeared with a lady who I presume was her Mum, and a bloke who looked like he was partner to the Mum, but he looked too young to be Linda's Dad, so was probably her young-at-heart Mum's boyfriend. Mum actually looked great herself, and I presume that Mum was quite keen for her and her daughter to be very high profile. I've seen several pictures of Linda in pageants, and elsewhere, with a variety of men seemingly quite close to her. If it was all taken in one summer, then that was a very busy summer. I don't know whether her 'brand' was active while she modeled, or whether it came from success in pageants at the time, or whether her fame came later.
