I'm a big fan of DC and I'm really enjoying the Superman and Batman Rebirth comics. In fact the Superman Rebirth is so clever I wonder if they had long terms plans in this direction way back when Supes got killed in the early 90's.
Haven't read WW Rebirth or GL Rebirth yet, but they're on my list. Justice League Rebirth is a pretty weak storyline.
As for Marvel, well except for Jessica Jones, I never got into their comics. They do a great movie though.

Yeah, with DC Rebirth, I'm digging the Superman Rebirth titles, and the Batman Rebirth titles as well. Wonder Woman Rebirth is pretty good, though kinda slow a little bit, since it appears like DC is going to retcon the controversial New52 origin a bit...

Not sure how much I like the dynamic of Superman having a son, but I do like that the Post-Crisis Superman is back. I tried to like the New52 version, but I just never could find him very appealing.

I'm a reborn die hard True Believer
I collected thousands of comics, mainly Marvel in the 60's and 70's including many really classic issues before real life (mainly work) temporarily intervened but now I'm reliving the past with lots of graphic novels like the Marvel Epic Collection series of full colour reprints.
I read up on current events in the comic world but very few really grab my attention.
When I was growing up US comics were available in newsagents everywhere, now it's just online or specialist shops, taking the fun of surprise purchases away such as when I discovered the likes of The Inferior Five and Deathlok
I also collected DC, all the original Atlas titles, Red Circle comics, Vampirella and many others.
Now I have them all as cbr/cbz files as a back-up.

Yeah, I love those Marvel Epic Collections! Been meaning to pick up more of them, but so far I purchased the Ant-Man (Hank Pym) Epic Collection, and the Howard the Duck Epic Collection. They are very affordable too, especially compared to the Masterworks editions. Which I have quite a few as well, but usually bought them on sale or some sort of really good discount.

When I was very young my favorite comics were DC. I liked Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and others. I did not even notice Marvel comics until I was in college. Then I really got hooked on so many of them: Spiderman, Iron Man, The Hulk, X-men, Dr. Strange, The Silver Surfer, Submariner, The Fantastic Four, Thor, and others. The artwork in the 1960's and 1970's in my opinion was better than it is now. I no longer read comics.

For anyone with a passing Interest in Thor or Mythology, I must highly highly recommend Jason Aaron's Thor - God of Thunder - God Butcher & God Bomb!

Absolutely superb. This is before Aaron went off into SJW hell with the Female Thor stuff.

Like Wendigo and Trailmaster, I read DC comics before the 'real' Marvel came to my attention in the early 60's. Before that, in the 50s, I read a lot of Dell and Disney titles (along with some Archies.) Dell had a lot of celebrity comics, I seem to remember that they had the Tarzan ones also. As for Disney, the Uncle Scrooge comics were my favorites. Before I went into the Navy in 1969, I had almost a complete collection of the Marvel non-reprint comics of the 8 years before that. Unfortunately, when I came home all of those (which had been stored in boxes in my parents' garage) had disappeared. I'm almost certain that my two-years younger brother sold them while I was gone.

I then began another collection of comic books, magazine size comics, and graphic novels - most are 'regular' comics, but also a lot of underground and 'ground-level' comics from the 70s. I do not read much of the 'mainstream' comics now, got sick of the continued 'new' recreations of characters. I stopped about the time that the Rob Liefield and Todd MacFarlane style (little story telling, lots of double page 'splashes' that they would be able to sell the original art from) came into being.

Now, I most buy bound collections, like the Marvel Essentials. But normally its mostly independents, bar a few favorites like Catwoman, Batwoman, Quinn, and the teenage female Ms. Marvel.

Shops specializing in comics are hard to find in Vienna where I'm from. But I was lucky to live a few minutes from a place called Comics Hutterer. It was a nerd magnet where you could get your regular US, French, Belgian and Japanese comics. I was heavily into Donald Duck, TMNT, Lucky Luke, Asterix and some of the Superman stuff. The last Superman comics I'd read was the DC series from 1992/93 The Death and Return of Superman. You know, the one where he gets killed by Doomsday and various fake Supermen take his place. But generally the superhero concept never appealed to me. By the time I was in my early teens I began to discover the French guys like Jean Giraud aka Moebius, Enki Bilal or Jacques Tardi. But as I got older, my interest in comics began to fade away but it never disappeared.

Yeah, we'll see how that pans out. There is already some suggestion of whiny, tiresome teenage angst.
