Befor I joined up, I worked for Butlins as a lifeguard Redcoat, we used to have a 'Dog of the Week', with one of the four, straight Redcoats, tasked to get off with her, once done, the normal regime of trying to get off with everything in a pair of knickers would resume. That said to all the DoW, I have to confess to my guilt, sorry but we were only eighteen!

In high school I was given a poetry assignment and as always I waited to last minute to do it.

I had no ideas.

So, I copied the beginning of Rush's - Natural Science.

As so>

When the ebbing tide retreats
Along the rocky shoreline .It leaves a trail of tidal pools
In a short-lived galaxy. Each microcosmic planet
A complete society

A simple kind mirror
To reflect upon our own. All the busy little creatures
Chasing out their destinies. Living in their pools
They soon forget about the sea...

As to create tidal pools from the lyrics.

A day later my teacher had me stay after class to congratulate me on the
quality of the poem and offered to enter it in a writing competition.
I told her I wasn't comfortable with my writing skills yet and graciously decline the offer.
