did a quick scan here and my impression is it doesn`t matter if it`s true or not but can it happen. think of it this way does a denier have a problem with making the camps and do the final solution. At this moment we do have a problem vandals in jewish homes

Ya'll need to stop with the fantasy, alternate history posts. This thread is not about such it is about wither the Holocaust happened or not.

My wife's step dad was in Hamlin as a driver in late 1945/47. He transported several high ranking military persons as well as several German and non German persons who were being tried for war crimes.
Nuremberg had the publicity guys Hamlin had the bit players.

I think I have said on here before,

Some said they were under orders to do what they did. Others said " We did the best we could for the Fatherland. The Glorious Germany".

If he was of duty he sometimes managed to get into watch the trials.

He always said "some said they were only doing their duty". " Others who were obvious cowards" who were too frightened to do anything else. "'And some who were extremely proud of what they did".

He also met a few Jews who were "allowed" to go to the trials. He told me in his later life of several harrowing stories. Some, and at least one, you would not believe.

One of the lesser harrowing ones was of a 14 year old boy who had spent 4 years in a camp and was forced to watch his Mother Father and Sister executed in front of him because he was not a "Hard Worker".

It did happen. There is no forgetting..

I actually dislike discussing conspiracy theories...like the holocaust didn't happen/Kennedy assassination/9-11...simply because, those who want to believe in conspiracy theory X, can never be persuaded from their viewpoint, no matter how much evidence is presented to the contrary.

Having said that, what you pointed out, to me, is the most damning evidence that it did happen. Not a single person put on trial at Nuremberg, or at later war crimes trials, ever denied that it happened. Some did deny that they were at death camp X, but did not deny that they actually existed. Every single one of them, as far as I've ever read, said "Hey, I was just following orders."

If I accuse you of doing something, and you didn't commit the act, the very first thing you are going to do is say "I didn't do it." Did any of the Nazi big shots that were tried at Nuremberg deny that it happened? Nope. Heck, Eichmann, when on trial in Israel in the 60's, actually said, under oath, what the number was that were killed in the death camps. One would think that, if it actually did not happen, that at least one of them would've said something to that effect. The fact that none of them denied it, none of them disputed that it occurred, is all the proof necessary that it actually did occur.

Exactly. Where is there a single document showing that a Nazi jumped up on the witness stand at Nuremburg and said, "What the fuck are you talking about? We never killed any Jews! What kind of crazy shit is this, you American madmen?!"

I dont believe there are holocaust deniers but those who look at the act as acceptable because of their own ideology. You can't deny what the world saw, you cant unsee the body's of the dead and the living dead, England burning, germany and other countries burning. Those are hard facts to disprove. As stated above itll happen again but will there be people strong enough to still fight it down again or will the next genocide be the final one?
