Avril Lund discussion
"Funny part is I used to read Penthouse regularly. I liked looking at other girls in the nude. I don’t know if it’s kink or not but a really beautiful woman turns me on. It’s different with men. I can fancy a woman and get terrific satisfaction out of just looking at her. I prefer tall, slim, small-breasted women with long, bushy hair and long, long legs. I think it would be ideal to live with a man and a woman providing I dug them both and they didn’t dig each other. I like to be the center of interest. I suppose it’s only natural-like my island syndrome-you start off all alone and soon you realize how much you need other people around you.”
Boy, you can really tell what part of this that Bob probably wrote himself! Lol Btw, back in 75, my first job was as a telephone solicitor to sell newspaper subscriptions. (Please forgive me I was young and needed the cash!) My boss was from Dublin and was a wonderful man to have as a first boss. But during our christmas party he let slip that he had dated Avril Lund back in the day! He was a gentleman and did not mention or claim any conquests but I was in my early teens at the time, so maybe that's why. I remember he told us her name was Avril Lundberg, which wasn't common knowledge at the time. (There being no internet then) Really took me back. Thx, PanamaRed55! Did she ever go by "April," instead of "Avril"? I've seen a few references to "April" in various magazines, although I wasn't sure if that was more of a typo, etc? |

Here's a very interesting bit of information...
It seems that Avril made at least one television appearance in the early 70s, and this one on prime time television, the Sonny Bono hour (a short-lived variety show, just after Sonny and Cher went their own ways). Here's a snip from a tv guide from Oct 1974, which I found online. It would be great to find this old footage.. I've never seen any footage of Avril, to date, so the prospect is exciting! http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...&postcount=149 |
