the October 26, 1974 issue of Billboard magazine.

"Funny part is I used to read Penthouse regularly. I liked looking at other girls in the nude. I don’t know if it’s kink or not but a really beautiful woman turns me on. It’s different with men. He was a gentleman and did not mention or claim any conquests but I was in my early teens at the time, so maybe that's why. I remember he told us her name was Avril Lundberg, which wasn't common knowledge at the time. (There being no internet then

Did she ever go by "April," instead of "Avril"?
I've seen a few references to "April" in various magazines, although I wasn't sure if that was more of a typo, etc?

Dean, He always called her Avril, with the long english a. i.e. "ahhvril"

Here's a very interesting bit of information...
It seems that Avril made at least one television appearance in the early 70s, and this one on prime time television, the Sonny Bono hour (a short-lived variety show, just after Sonny and Cher went their own ways).
Here's a snip from a tv guide from Oct 1974, which I found online.

It would be great to find this old footage.. I've never seen any footage of Avril, to date, so the prospect is exciting!
