I had been away from VEF for a few years. So sad when you come back and the people you "grew up" with on VEF are gone. Xxphd and erdnuss already had the R.I.P. tag. Now we lost hattertim as well. Yet another member that will be sorely missed.

It is sad enough to lose friends, but when they are younger than we are, the truth of our own mortality is starting to sink in. Rest in peace with your favorite page 3 girls around you

Tim was already a Mod in the Magazine Scans section when I was recruited to help out there. As already alluded to by others he was one of the most helpful members on the forum. He always avoided confrontation and tried to be friends with everyone. He embodied the spirit of VEF and his permanent absence will leave a void forever.

For those who don't know Tim had a collection of over 7,000 British magazines but he didn't keep them hidden away. He was continuously scanning and posting the pictorials for the benefit of all and he also filled requests when possible. I do hope these are passed back into the hobby.

Farewell, Tim and take comfort in the fact your light will burn eternally here.

I didn't know Hattertim personally but from his posts that I saw I learned that he was a decent, helpful and very laid back bloke who was taken from us far too soon and will be greatly missed!

Very sad news indeed, RIP Tim.

It was Tim that first pulled me into VEF. This is very sad news.

I'm also 51 !

If there is a heaven, that's where Tim will be.

Not sure what leaves VEF, but condolences to his family.

Very sad to hear of Tim's passing- I think the only interaction we ever had on VEF was a single exchange of PM's about his 'Fiesta Readers Wives Striptease' threads (and speaking as a great fan of that mag feature, his work there alone is something I appreciate greatly) , but he's made an enormous contribution to our little community here.

Top bloke who will be sorely missed by all on VEF. As someone said a few posts back, if there is an afterlife, when I get there, I definitely owe Tim a pint or several!
