Do uploaders make money on VEF?

Personally I'd never pay for somewhere to host my files. They are no more reliable than those filehosts who provide a free service. You can get 10gb free on mediafire, 50gb on mega, 15 (?) on google drive, 25gb on gavitex which hardly anyone uses but downloads faster than most. throw in zippyshare for small files, wetransfer for anything you're not bothered about being up for a long time, file factory for anything up to 90 days add in a couple of duplicate accounts on different emails and you're well up past the 100gb storage and it's cost you nothing. there's also something called box that's gives you 10gb but limits the traffic and something called pcloud which I've no experience of. so I think you can probably guess that I'm not going to pay for premium to download.

What do you do if you want to watch vintage clips and movies?
Do you use only free services of paid file hostings like k2scc, filejoker and depositfiles etc.?
Or do you just go to free tubes?

Tube sites are 2 tiered paysites in the same way as adult verification system (AVS)
Lots of rubbish for free but you need to upgrade to see the very best

On the otherside you have 4-5 million posting to earn a weekly wage
Their not posting for lots of heart warming comments

Only folks attracted to the tubes are those who will never pay who have little or no patience , dont care perfect quality , think streaming tube addresses added to clips , ads at the start and end , everything from 180x-720x clips - most of which dont say anything about their technical specs , sample clips that remove a lot of the bloat.

In other words watch & discard

Only positives i can see are you'll find a lot of older stuff under obscure titles that you may not find on hosts any longer.User made fetish category compilations have a certain uniqueness.No waiting times

There is a lot of $$$ hosting on this forum at the moment. These non-preferred
cash domains could easily be blacklisted, and the posters banned.

I use preferred hosts, so why can't everyone else?

Owners want profits - they only care about traffic - that means everything goes
with a few Banned sites.

Everyone else might as well stop dreaming of their perfect forum as it will never happen

I co-Admin at another forum where traffic is not an issue that we need to concern ourselves with because we are a small forum and we're not in it for profit. Expenses for server space and bandwidth are paid for by donations from forum members. As such we can set rules that we feel are fair to anyone looking for good content that they can easily obtain.

We do what we can here to balance the need to satisfy the forum owners' wishes for traffic vs our wishes to have content easily available for members of the forum. We are only volunteer staff at this forum, we receive no compensation for what we do, and we also have no responsibility for paying for maintenance, servers, or bandwidth used by this forum. A forum this size is a large expense that cannot be maintained by donation alone and the owners want to make a profit in return for their expenses.

As has been the trend for quite some time now, the majority of posters at forums all over the net post for profit and generate the traffic that is needed to keep forums online. This is an unfortunate trend but it's something we have to deal with at a forum of this size.

We keep an eye on posters who try to abuse their posting privileges at this forum and we try to deal with them as we can. However, in order to keep this forum running we cannot ban every crappy host that is available for use by members that post for profit unless we can prove that they are absolutely impossible to use.

Please understand, every member of staff at this forum tries to do what they can to make conditions at this forum as member friendly as they can. We also operate under a lot of constraints that would not be present if the current circumstances of all forums on the net did not exist.

We are currently the only forum of this size that I know that is allowed to enact restrictions aimed at curtailing cash posters. Please keep this in mind.

Yes we do. I have earned $5 over the last 5-6 years. I'm ready to quit my job now, buy myself an island in a warmer climate and just live on the extra income from cash hosts.

VEF always was a user friendly place, nice for classic lovers & collectors community. Not like a 99.9% of other forums (in fact - cash holes & and places of various cash whores). In fact - for these cash ones forum's members is only "masturbators with wallets" (like bastards write on their hole - rebill.me). These ones, as says one my good friend, like adepts of crappy cash sect.
