Schubert Wanderer Fantasie Alfred Brendel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCiLqWOipf4
Franz Schubert Fantasie in C major, Op. 15 (D. 760), popularly known as the Wanderer Fantasy Alfred Brendel, piano Allegro con fuoco ma non troppo in C major Adagio in C sharp minor Presto (scherzo) in A flat major Allegro in C major The Fantasie in C major, Op. 15 (D. 760), popularly known as the Wanderer Fantasy, is a four-movement fantasy for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert in November 1822. It is widely considered Schubert's most technically demanding composition for the piano. Schubert himself said "the devil may play it," in reference to his own inability to do so properly. Schubert composed this work in late 1822, just after breaking off work on the Unfinished Symphony, it is a four-movement work combining theme-and-variations with sonata form. Each movement transitions into the next instead of ending with a final definitive cadence, and each starts with a variation of the opening phrase of his lied "Der Wanderer." The second movement, marked "adagio," (in C sharp minor) 6:21 states the theme in virtually the same way it is presented in the song, whereas the three fast movements begin with variants in diminution (that is, shortened note values): the first movement, "allegro con fuoco ma non troppo," a monothematic sonata form in which the second theme is another variant, the third, "presto," a scherzo in compound time, and the finale, marked simply "allegro," starting as a quasi-fugue and making increasing demands on the player's technical and interpretive powers as it storms on to its conclusion. |

Here is another disc of music by Georg Philipp Telemann. It is called Kleine Cammer-Music. It consists of what are called Partitas. A partita is a type of dance suite, using a small chamber orchestra(Kleine Cammer). Also each partita uses just one or two main instruments like an oboe, recorder, viola da gamba, violin, or a tranverse flute that have a more prominent sound with the small chamber orchestra heard in the backround. |

Just listening to a young aspiring blues guitarist[I know, not another one]. This guy has been endorsed by Buddy Guy. Indeed he played with him at his club when he was only eight. Now he is the grand old age of 16 and he has released an album and also the theme tune to the film Midnight Train[I think].... His name is Quinn Sullivan... A young red haired Irish/American blues man... check him out if you like good guitar playing
