She's my favorite "vintage" star. But I can't seem to put into words exactly why? Is it all about those eyes?

It's the eyes. Eva Notty and Ryan Conner and a select few have that look too.
They make eye contact with the camera and it's "I wish YOU were with me right now"
I do mean select - not all movie stars (straight or porn) have that look.

sorry, no more jokes, just in case someone gets cranky. I will have to check her out...it is possible that certain stars have something others don't-physical, visual, a glow, something so I will give credit to the original poster for a fair question.
