I've just watched the latest BBC 1 Saturday night TV drama - "Troy, Fall of a City" made for the Corporation by Endemol Shine at enormous cost in South Africa. Just why they keep commissioning rubbish like this is a bit beyond me, but trust the good old Beeb to waste licence payers money at every opportunity on dull, generally PC material. This production is basically Robin Hood does Atlantis, with a very hot Helen (German actress Bella Dayne) who has nice tits. Unfortunately, that's about it. The acting leaves much to be desired and the whole thing suffers from stupid dialogue, with a predictable wooden feel to the storyline. Oh dear!
Bankrolled mostly by Netflix I'd expect

Bigger waste of time& money - hasbeens

I've just started on The Orville and I'm sure this has been discussed already. But for me, it is one of the most entertaining series I've seen in the last year or so. Star Trek could actually learn one or two things from this show.

9/10 so far!

Saw S01E01-S01E02 of Collateral yesterday, and while there is nothing really "new" or outstanding about the show I still really liked it. There is always room on my schedule for a well made thriller.

It's a pity the whole series isn't out already. I hate having to wait days/weeks for the next episode.

The new Star Trek used the F word. Not often enough for my liking but it's a start.

Started watching Counterpart, I love it. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't as yet.

Has anybody seen Seven Seconds? It looks good but I'm afraid it'll focus more on race relations than being a thriller.

South Park--Season 14 Episode 1--Sexual Healing

I forgot how fuckin funny this episode is. Turns out sex addiction is caused by wizard aliens living at Independence Hall, who usually only infect rich, successful men. Oh...and EA Sports is making really fun sports games now!

Nah, he's a good'un...well so far. And what a shocker the mole turned out to be. If it is the mole and we're not being led up the garden path again.

I think that is the mole. I loved that scene where ___ is comparing the documents and actually figures out where the leaks are coming from. The actor pulled off that wordless scene really well.
