This is one of the "Savage Video" tapes Michelle Bauer made. There were quite a few others she was in, and one of the stars I remember also being in these was Crystal Breeze, though there were many other girls who would all be remembered fondly by forum members. "Brittany" somebody, was one...many of the hottest "model/pornstars", like Michelle, were in these.

If I remember correctly many of the ones with Michelle are AFTER her boob enhancement, while this one is BEFORE. I like to think of her as "Pia Snow" BEFORE the boob job, and "Michelle Bauer" after. In any case, she worked in quite a few of these.

I rented my first one in a store on 42nd Street. I think these were mostly available only through mail order. They weren't "movies", they were video tapes shot on video. There were essentially three kinds (as far as I knew):

- shot in a ring (some of these were "mud" wrestling)
- shot in apartments (like this one just posted)
- shot on the beach and in a beach house in Malibu, including an outdoor spa

These were great, kind of an "amateur" tape BEFORE there were any.

I only found these in adult stores which rented out mail order titles as well as professional releases. And I only rented them so I haven't originals myself, alas.

These were made in the early 80s. I saw my first one in early 1983 and it was brand new then, I think, so I'd say this video was shot around then--but I can't know since I've never seen this particular one before. I think the beach ones were made a little after, but that's only because I saw them after the "apartment" and "ring" ones, and that many years later.

These were the sexiest things I had ever seen up that point, and still remain (in memory) some of my faves. The combination of the new ability to pause or go in slo-mo, with the amazing contortions these perfect female bodies would get into while "fighting", made for my first "one-hand surfing", if you will, though instead of a mouse those days it was a remote. The problem is that you can't get the crisp detail you got when the tapes were freshly released on VHS. Any copy anyone would have would have faded, like the source tape for this one has.

But I'd be happy to see more clips made from "Savage Video"!
