Screenshots of GDC in Precious Jewels (1982) with Amanda Blackburn and Kathy Green (a one-time lover of Mary Millington). As far as I can tell this very obscure film was the only time he played a lead role.

Wow - thanks so much for posting!!! I am such a huge GDC fan, so this is excellent - will now try to track down a copy of the video!

I have now discovered that he also appears in the following vintage title "The Stag & hen Night" (1982) - can anyone help with this?

Precious Jewels is a difficult one to track down, took me ages!, it came out in the early days of uncertificated video, there was an attempt to re-issue it on video in the late 1980s but by that time videos needed a certificate from the BBFC who refused to grant one to Precious Jewels and banned it.

GDC was also in a video called ‘Mother Goosed’ http://www.pre-cert.co.uk/cgi-bin/cms/Film/54065 which appears to have been a filmed version of an adult panto, that one even eludes me!

Thanks for posting this info! Am curious as to why it was banned - was it hardcore (shots above made me think it was a softcore movie)?

Can you, or anyone, give any recommendations on where to find pre-cert movies? I nearly found GDC's "Stag and Hen Night" on ebay, but it had been sold! Any pointers would be gratefully received!

Its softcore, but a pretty unpleasant film centred around rape and bondage, which obviously must have wound the censor up the wrong way.

Dave appears as "Big Ben" in Pocket Playbirds No 17, from about 1979. The photo set is in black and white and of course it is soft core, but he is displayed in all his glory !!
