I never know why people go public when they win so much money as all it does it cause hassle. You have begging letters by the thousand, the media all over you and friends you never knew existed getting in touch. Personally I would pick up my winnings, act normally for a few weeks and then go on holiday and never come back.

Part of me wanted to go over and bloody beat some sense into them all. Since there was reason me trying to use logic to point out what they were doing was = Insane

But instead I moved as far away as I could (While still being technically within coverable distance to catch the train when it deemed to arrive) because the place stunk of Lynx.

Christ when you were in your teens did you ever even think about spraying deodorant into your mouth (Yes they were spraying it into their mouths and inhaling) and then gargle and swallow mouthwash.

No at most we maybe had a crafty cigarette or drank some beer, right

Trying to shake what I saw off ,only it`s kind of depressed me a bit.

Sheer bleakness of it couldn't help but depress anyone I suppose.

Cameron dares talk about this country and us being under the gravest terror threat ever recorded. Yeah yeah from fundamentalists he helped create , train and fund.

Well at eight o'clock this evening I felt terror alright. Genuine terror for those children who are so bereft of guidance or direction they`re choosing to inhale themselves into giggling stumbling chemical blankness.

There are still some decent programme series.I confine my viewing primarily to watching sport and BBC2/4 when they have their wildlife series and various documentaries and the Promenade concerts.

I have my own enormous personal library of blu rays so avoid all the Sky/Netflix nonsense as well considering most of the films they show to be completely trite.

I also like watching Countryfile quite apart from the fact the rather lovely, well spoken and intelligent Ellie Harrison is on it.

BBC4 have produced some great series recently and you can catch some on Youtube.

These include Sound of Cinema: The Music that Made the Movies, Horror Europa, Dan Snows History of Locomotion, Dreaming the Impossible: Unbuilt Britain etc etc.

Jago Cooper has a forthcoming series on the Lost Kingdoms of Central America in follow up to those of South America. Alistair Sooke has done excellent series on the Art of Rome and Egypt, Dr.Lucy Worsley various series on culture, fashion and society over the centuries. Andrew Graham-Dixon with his Art of the Low Countries/Russia/ Germany/Italy and recently China.

Dr.Michael Mosley with various series on medicine and the history of science, Simon Beale on the symphony and the reqiuem.

All these presenters and several others are great communicators with a great knowledge of their subject.

They also revive classic documentaries from the past such as the late Robertl Hughes The Shock of the New and great dramas such as I,Claudius.

For me it is the best channel there is.

Unless you're restricted to only watching TV (in the UK) on Freeview or Freesat, there really is no excuse for moaning that "there's nothing to watch on TV" in my opinion. I'm lucky enough to have both Sky & Virgin as TV channel providers, and they both have shedloads of stuff on them that I want to watch! I've got so many series backed up to watch it's unbelievable! The only time I tend to watch live TV is when there's a sporting event on, such as football, NFL or F1. I've also got Amazon's Prime streaming service to fall back on when I can't be arsed to dip into any of the stuff on my PVR's. Plus DVD's, Blu-Rays etc! So nothing to watch on TV? More like..."I can't be bothered to entertain any other options other than surfing around the channels to see what's on at the moment"!

Is it just me(and I suspect I already know the answer to this) or do you shout, rant, scream and threaten physical violence from a kick to an small axe in it's circuits, at your computer when it won't do what YOU want IT to do, and it IT does what IT wants to do instead? Have you ever thought about throwing it down the stairs or out of the window...or is it just me?
