The P&H site itself is working just fine, so I assume the fault is at our end, I will inform the sites owner, he can get the tech guys to take a look.

I wonder if I´m the only one that at the moment is really annoyed with Imagebam? They seem to have adopted a much more aggressive ad/popup policy than before.I wonder if they see their chance to grab more slices of the cake now that someimage have folded up?

I´m not going to use imagebam at the moment,and if the aggressiveness continues,I will abandon them.

I have adblock+ and some other stuff installed,but I can´t get by the popups,anyone got some ideas,or will I just have to live with it?

I've been away from the forums for about a month or so. I really wanted to get back to posting again, so I thought I'd give P & H a few weeks to straighten out any remaining bugs or issues.

This morning I attempted to post to the Babe of the Day thread. Just uploaded five photos. For the past ten minutes, it says beneath each photo "processing" and has been stuck at that since I uploaded. I cannot add them to my post.

I have officially declared P & H to no longer be an effective picture host. I don't know what the hell they did, it was working absolutely fine before this and had worked fine for years. This "upgrade" they did is loaded with nothing but obstacles and problems, I have not been able to successfully post a single photo since they upgraded.

I am going to use one of the other picture hosts going forward.

I don't know if anyone else is having similar problems with P & H, but it certainly can't be an isolated thing since so many people on here have used it for so long.

This is the problem I mentioned in post 1912 above. It has been this way all week. Sam Spade replied above and is on it, but no telling how long a fix will take. Curiously, P&H had seemed to get beyond the problems incurred in their recent upgrade, and things were working fine until this popped up. As Sam noted, this may be a VEF and not a P&H problem.

I don't love P&H but the Browse button sure is handy when it works. Also some of the other hosts are worse than P&H right now when it comes to spammy pop-ups, especially the horrific "Warning from Micro Soft." I actually have to call up Task Manager to make that one go away.

I also noticed this. Under my additional stuff is BlockSitePlus, and I added www.imagebam.com/files to its blacklist, that got rid off one particular kind of pest.

Ad-blocking in all its varities will block 99% of ads - not a great thing to do if the site is solely funded by ads for revenue - you can isolate individual ads not to run
by using a script blocker

Then you work your way through the scripts and what does what and allow the minimum for the site to work...That way the troubling ad / ads never activate.

The number of things each site needs to work is usually quite minimal imho


- website address
- for streaming - cdn / mdn or ip address
- filehosts - captcha / recaptcha / solvemedia


Some browsers have them

Firefox has the no script security suite
Chrome has script safe

call me cautious but I'd be avoiding uploading to P & H
until their bugs/feedback posts stop and the above message is no more

- Sorting Albums/Images by Size/Name/Uploaded/Modified.
- BBCodes / HTML Codes Sharing.
- Sorting now effects the Sharing Codes also. (HTML/BBCodes/Links) to be sorted in same way as the actual images.
- Display "x" amount of images/albums per page.
- Album Issues & Previews for Locked Albums + Private Album Icon added.
- All 4 Image sizes are live & fixed. 180px , 250px , 500px , 750px.
- Copy To Clipboard is added.
- Download Albums as .zip results in "Error!" message.
- Mass Delete option for Albums
- Image Size & Resolution added
- Sorting by Privacy added
- Global progress bar for uploads & action icons are added.

Give us some time and we will turn this site into the best image hosting site you ever saw, we have so much more stuff planned

I've noticed that whenever clicking to open any Imagebam uploaded/posted image for the first time after logging into VEF an ad appears and then one must click on the "Continue to your pic" located above the ad to open and view the pic. After that first initial image opening all other images will open ad free until one logs off and later returns to VEF.
I've noticed that Imgbox has also began that same irritant!
Don't advertisers realize that no one is interested or paying attention/viewing their irritating ads in the few seconds it takes to click, delete, and bypass them? Such a waste of their advertising money!
All those ads do is congest the site, and are probably responsible for and help to create the glitches that image host sites experience!

Can anyone tell me how to get the thumbnail BB Code for images posted on imgbox?

We like to have clickable thumbnail images for each Model ID Request, and I can't figure out how to find the code on the full-image page.

I use the Google Chrome browser, and wonder if a "secret" tab is not being displayed.
