There are tests created by psychologists to know if you are a psychopath or not, if you are altruistic or not, etc...

I did one... I'm not a psychopath. (In fact... I think more and more that doesn't really help to be sensible on this planet. )
But I can tell you that reading several people here... I'm almost sure that there are a lot of psychopaths.

I was born in Yugoslavia, not in the time of Tito, but I know it was a good time. Banks didn't control people, as they control USA. The economy was strong, and they all were employed. The employees got free apartments,
students free schooling and criminals have received special treatment. Yes, special, if you were a criminal you would be arrested, and nobody knows that.Criminals were taken to the island called 'Goli Otok' (Naked Island) some sort of prison, where the prisoners break stones every day. Many unknown and brutal things worked there (it depends how much you were a criminal), some of them never returned. But that was the law, there is no such thing today, because criminals lead the state and have the power. It was a rule, be good and everything will be ok.

I was holidaying on Korcula many years ago (about79/80) and was having a drink in the hotel lobby one night when all hell broke lose. Tourists were kicked out of one side annex and the staff were running around like headless chickens. The manager appeared putting a tie on. A few mins later there were a lot of blue lights, and a man dressed in a pink suit with his hand in his top pocket came in looking every bit the undercover security guard, checked the annex and then stood at the entrance with a mean look on his face. Then in came the local councillors/political leaders, straight into the annexe. Pink Suit kept up his mean look until the Politicos decided to go, after 20 mins and one drink.

The hotel workers were really frightened. Real fear. The British tourists were partly perplexed and partly angry. British politicians wouldn't dare behave like that and if they tried they would be put in their place. But in this communist heaven the people were afraid of their politicians and that cannot ever be a good thing.

Harold Harold Harold.... what about anonymous exams, corrected by randomised selected psychologists working in isolated rooms?

That's how professionnal testers give notes on food samples.

As far as I know, there are no special traffic lanes reserved exclusively for the high up muckety mucks in any western nation either. At least there aren't in the USA. But there were in Communist Russia.

xyz wants to do away with out current elites and make everyone "equal", but somehow the people who are in charge of "equality" always end up being the more equal animals.

When Bush visited Germany, our population was banished behind a heavily guarded fence. Allowed in front of the fence were only countless masses of police and their special forces, and a few dozen hand-picked claqueurs. Whole sections of the motorway were blocked. They even welded the manhole covers on the streets. No soviet apparatchik like extravagance was too expensive for the beloved leader from overseas.

Same trouble with Obama and his quite arrogant entourage. We had the impression the honorable gentlemen were shaking in their boots, every time they honored us with their completely unnecessary presence.

We do not have special reserved lanes here, but anyone who has tried to move about in the vicinity of a top official in the United States will have experienced the restrictions "security" places on our movements.

Having visited foreign nations and lived in the United States, it does not appear that the politicos really have much control at the local level. Gangs and other bad guys abound, illegal poaching and logging are rampant in police states. and bribery of public officials commonplace. If the national leaders want to round you up and shoot or imprison you they may or may not be able to do so. On the other hand, the wealthy and connected have friends in high places wherever they go.

What sucks is when too many folks lack, food, shelter, or water. Or criminals are allowed to prey freely on ordinary citizens. There are not enough jobs to keep people busy. Or any other way where the normal ebb and flow of daily life ceases to function and violence and disorder become commonplace.

The number of human beings has nearly tripled in my lifetime. We are living longer and dying of fewer causes. The side effects of resource consumption and fossil fuel burning seem to be changing weather patterns. Where it is all headed, who know? For each of us individually, it is certain that we will die sooner or later.
