Another WEAK of predictions........
Week 6 Schedule
Thu, 10/9 Indianapolis at Houston - Still going with the Colts....INDIANAPOLIS Sun, 10/18 Chicago at Atlanta - Two totally disappointing teams. I give the Falcons benefit of home field ATLANTA New England at Buffalo - Sorry Bills Fans. Rumor of the Pats demise greatly exaggerated ! NEW ENGLAND Carolina at Cincinnati - Bungles came off the Bye Week flat..they'll play angry this Sunday CINCINNATI Pittsburgh at Cleveland - Tough to call. Probably a 13-7 game. PITTSBURGH Green Bay at Miami - GREEN BAY Detroit at Minnesota - Tough Lions "D" takes the game DETROIT Denver at NY Jets - Michael Vick now claims he wasn't ready last Sunday. GROAN.........DENVER Baltimore at Tampa Bay - Could be another dog fight......BALTIMORE Jacksonville at Tennessee - Ugly game. The Titans have better stats on both sides of the ball. TENNESSEE San Diego at Oakland - Again, Phillip Rivers looks impressive... IN THE REGULAR SEASON. - SAN DIEGO Washington at Arizona - Is Washington toast ? YEP......ARIZONA Dallas at Seattle - The Talking Rain cools the Cowboys SEATTLE NY Giants at Philadelphia - I think the Giants "D" exploits the Eagles patch work Offensive Line. NEW YORK Mon, 10/13 San Francisco at St. Louis - I still like the Niners. But at 10PM I will be switching to "The Blacklist" - SAN FRANCISCO 27 ST. LOUIS 13 = 40+ Total points Have fun gentlemen..... Let the games begin ! Last edited by Rick Danger; October 9th, 2014 at 10:05 PM.. |

Damn right! Seriously, the rest of you picking the Bengals?
This was one I had trouble with. GB have let me down. I chose the home team Not convinced of Baltimore, and it's a road game for them. I just threw the dice What upset? The rest of you are nuts. It's 2014, not 2012. Just think. I had the Jaguars til I changed my mind the last second. Interesting nobody picked Dallas. |

WTF Department.........
Enjoyed a lovely early Fall day with the wife and granddaughter at the Renaissance Faire. Came home and checked the scores.......
The Bungles and the Panthers ended in a tie. A TIE ? ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??? What kind of b***s*** is this ? The Steelers choked to the Browns ? The Cowboys took the Seahawks ? Well, OK that maybe wasn't such an upset. And the Giants are getting their clocks cleaned against the Eagles.......... BTW...... how is a tie scored ? Since no one lost, I would think everyone should get a point. Which makes Brother Motorboater the smartest guy in the room...... |

It's down to T2000 and Pukindog. Both are 12-2 going into MNF and they both picked San Fran. T2 wants a low scoring game, P-dog wants to see high scoring.
As far as the Carolina-Cincinnati game, I check last year's results and after the GB-Minnesota game, everyone got a win. So that's what we'll do this year. Since 1974, when the NFL introduced overtime, there have been 20 tie games in the NFL. Green Bay has played in 5 of them, Philadelphia in 4; but neither against one another. Green Bay and Minnesota have tied twice in that span, 1978 and 2013. Kansas City is the only team to have tie games in consecutive seasons, 1988 and 1989.

Tennessee Titans 16 - Jacksonville Jaguars 14
