For a couple of years in the early 90s, I went on two weeks 'lads holidays'.

Every night we went out and got absolutely trashed, have a bit of a kip on the beach then haeaded out and did it all over again.

For 13 nights solid.

I couldn't do two nights in a row now.

It takes me two days to get over a particularly heavy sesion.

I've been there myself mate. (I think) Time takes it toll, we must succumb to age. But with age there is wisdom. I'm looking down the back of the sofa trying to find it!

I try to to avoid "fisticuffs" these days. Even though I boxed when I was younger. I prefer to get pissed instead. And these days kids are "tooled up"
