I added a large diced carrot and 10 mins before taken off the hob, a couple of handfuls of frozen pea's.

It turned out quit well. Ive just discovered Aldi's recipe's, I recommend them.

The wife had friends over for two days (I have posted an interesting detail of this here), so I escaped into the woods. And even it had not rained a lot the last couple of days, I managed to find those:

To be honest, although (I think) I have some short knowledge about mushrooms, I was not really sure about two or three on those I found.

So, I was indeed a bit curious how I would feel like today..

Curry Pies? - I remember some fondly. I found these up in the NE of Scotland, which is World famous for its coronary inducing-artery furring-cholesterol boosting cuisine. But on the whole is delicious.




Many varieties of this pie exist too ..some spicier, some juicier, but all equally delicious, with lots of lovely spicy bird hidden within a thick yellow glutinous curry gravy.

There are other delicacies, such as the macaroni cheese pie, shepherd's pie (with baked beans plugged onto it), but the king is the Steak & gravy pie - they are exquisite. Keeps the North Sea Winter cold out.

At least he could have appreciated that you took the effort to go out into wilderness to get him fresh shrooms from the very heart of mother nature. Carefully handpicked!
