I am normally on the LFC hit list regards the Premier League Title, however it would be nice if Liverpool could win the trophy and give the PL some form of credibility as well as putting the state run side in its place.

Liverpool are my "grown-up" side ~ as I've said many times before on here.

Probably influenced from the 'John Peel' era on Radio London (?) ~ when I looked beyond Blues and realised - Yep - there are other teams in life.... but not as cr@p as us .... so, I always wished them good ~ and was LOYAL to cr@p

They were my joint 2nd Faves....

.... with WHU....to whom I always follow and send only Good Fortune Wishes.

However...I couldn't care less if Liverpool LOSE ...they got there ! !

City/Utd didn't

Most IMPORTANT from a Supporter Viewpoint...is that FC Lens, West Ham and Blues...retain their status.

Arsenal did their very best to shoot themselves in the foot and succeeded

80 of 180 minutes against 10 men and you still lose 2-1 over 2 legs
To concede a late goal in the 1st leg against 10 men is unforgivable

Athletico Madrid arent anywhere near as potent as they were when they made the champions league final otherwise they wouldnt be in Europa.

If Liverpool take their chances clinically and never stop attacking they'll be a match for RM

The 1-3 extra time Champions league Final win against arguably the best defensive team of the day - Athletico Madrid says - try defending an early 1-0 lead at your peril.

Brummies and Lens looking for the same, Lens in with a shout if they beat toolose

We are now safe, PL footie next season, more farce unless the three lame brains actually come up with a long term plan.

Sir Alex Ferguson, who led Manchester United to 38 trophies during 26 years in charge, has had emergency surgery on Saturday for a brain haemorrhage.
