Yeah, that's the same shoot. Not necessarily the same individual pix, but the same set dressing, same costumery, same photographer.

Here is all I have of a model called Lana Pinkerton by Larry Caye - The Latent Image.
Below is the cover of Swank October 1975 and her pictorial from the following month. She was called Melody Patten by Swank. Then these are all the slide scans I have. Commentary by effCup soon to follow. |

Huh? Well, look at the Swank, 1975-11 cf pic. you can see the crescent tattoo just beside her ring finger.
There's also one of the Latent Image scans where it's just visible through the white stocking... although one first has to know to be looking for it. Here it's presumably hidden by the garter, but not really visible. There's a slightly better res. pic. of Lana Pinkerton in the 1981-Summer supplement: and a related pic. is present in the Swank, 1975-11 set of Melody Patten. This pic. from 1975-Spring (bottom left) I think is related to this one (note doll head/face): So: Melanie Sutherland | crescent tattoo = Melody Patten = Lana Pinkerton. As I said to P2 earlier by PM: we've previously seen (see linked above, but it's now gone) an image of the name Melanie Sutherland in Penthouse, and there's also the imdb stuff & viklas info., so to me that's: a) more than we often have to work with & b) the most logical best-known-as handle for an id. Other factors I looked at yesterday, before seeing P2's pics. today--i.e. comparing Melanie Sutherland, Lana Pinkerton @TLI, & the Swank 1975-10 cover pic.: brows, & hair line (slight witch's peak). Lana Pinkerton
Lana Pinkerton in Cabaret Queens Quarterly, 1976-Spring. Scans by RG, posted by Al, thanks to both.
Just to show that it's the name she was given in that mag. But I'd still say Melanie Sutherland was her better-known-as. Last edited by effCup; September 4th, 2017 at 03:15 PM.. Reason: re-up |

I found a current ebay listing for Penthouse October 1975 where the seller lists the models featured in the mag and Melanie Sutherland is there so it seems she is named in the magazine. I think it's become clear she is not Julia Jones from the other thread so I'm fine with using either Lana or Melanie.
