I believe that there are alternate parallel existential realities in the universe. When we die, our individual life force energy returns to the collective energy source, and then transcends to another alternate paralell existential reality, possibly one that we've never known before or could even begin to comprehend. Like an algebraic grid, each reality is represented by a point on the grid and you transcend to one of those points. Further, I believe "ghosts" are life forces from alternate paralell realities attempting to communicate with our reality.

Smoked a fair bit of ganga myself, but never came up with anything that extreme.Knowing my luck I'll come back as a dung beetle, when in reality I'd like to be reincarnated as the gusset on Deta Von Teeses's knickers.

Suicides in Heaven!
Yep,the short story I read follows the lines that everything is possible when you die. The narrator found himself indulging in every fantasy. He was a huge soccer fan and was able to play with his team and win all the major games. He then played with every player who ever played in his team. Finally he got bored and took up golf, untill he got too good, and moved on to more challenges. He was asked if he'd like to see Hitler, but nerves meant the best he could do was to hide behind a bush as Hitler walked past. Why was Hitler in Heaven? There is no Hell. What about God? He's there for those who want him to exist. After one thousand years the narrator feels he's done everything and asks if he can be turned into someone else in order that he can do it all over again from another perspective.Unfortunately Heaven hasn't perfected this technique yet. Been there, done it..........for all time, whats left?Turn off time and die forever. |

All That You Love Will Be Carried Away
I came across this movie/book/song title as I was about to arrange my mothers funeral. Depressing isn't it?

I think Mr E Costello covered this pretty comprehensively:
Banish all dismay, Extinguish every sorrow. If I'm lost or I'm forgiven, The birds will still be singing. |
