Was looking at some before & after/makeup vs. no makeup comparisons online recently of currently active or recently active (within the last 7 years or so) actresses, and it was actually somewhat stunning just HOW different these porn actresses look when not on set. Like, to the point where you can barely recognize them even when the comparison shots are side-by-side.
I take that into consideration, and then I think of some of the older actresses who dropped out of sight in the 1980s or early 1990s (Lisa DeLeeuw and the like) and it wouldn't be shocking at all to find out many of them were leading ordinary lives under different/non-porn names.
Particularly in the case of DeLeeuw or Bambi Woods, where so many people claim they are dead, but these same people can never provide any documentation (coroner's report, obituary, photo of gravesite) of how they know this as being fact. Most of these people can't even provide the real names of these actresses, so therefore it strains credulity to therefore believe they 'know' such and such an actress is dead.
A lot of the actresses who started in the biz in the late 1990s or later are easily located. As mentioned, some even have legit fb pages under their real names.

I travel a TON for work and nothing says "exciting" like sitting in a Sheraton in Tampa on a Saturday night and there's nothing on TV. I grew up on '80's porn so as a time-killer, I'll track down stars using their real name (at least according to their many on-line bios) and any of the available free search engines like Radaris, Spokeo and Intellius. If you can believe it there's a woman with her same name (and it's not a common one) within 50 miles of her. That was confusing. Tawny Pearl? There's a woman with her name, from her home town born on the same day...but it's not her. In fact, I'm beginning to think her bio info is bullshit because there aren't birth records for her in that state.

There was one I've liked for a long time... Jacqueline Sheen. According to IAFD she was only in 3 movies in 1992. Had big (natural?) boobs, did at least one anal scene... tall brunette.
