So why do you post files at deposit files? Why not mediafire or fichier?

Guess the preferences depend on whether you are uploading or downloading.

When it comes to sheer downloading (as free-user), it is more comfortable to have quick speeds at low restrictions like waiting-times between dl´s, captchas etc.

As uploader (especially as free-user or non-paying member), it is more important to have your files stored long enough. Depositfiles seems to keep files rather long, whereas 1fichier and MF are quite quick on removing files after a short period of non-downloading time.

On more, Mediafire has a quite strict No-Porn-Policy. They are quickly cancelling accounts when reports of Porn-content come along.

Can´t speak for the flu of course, so it´s nothing but my guesses.

If you are a Premium Member at Fichier, files are not removed.

My point is: moan files aren't on Fichier/MediaFire
Then post files yourself on DespositFiles....

file factory is between three and five times quicker than what I would usually expect from it which makes a massive difference as far as I'm concerned, thanks for the advice. plus I've done several with no waiting at all between.

I wouldn't trust Mediafire any further than I could throw Kim Dotcom. I'm
not sure why anyone would upload any file to a file host company located
in the United States. A few kbs faster download speed, at the sake of the
files not only being deleted fairly quickly, but located in the same country
whose FBI shot down, all but a handful of the file host countries in existence a few
short years ago? To me, that's like a rat living in a strychnine factory. When did
free, become not good enough?

I haven't been able to get anything from F/F for several months, they never finish, get 100% then start again in JDownloader #2 & just plain fail through Firefox

I have been facing this same problem for many sites too when using IDM. They start well, then after 99% IDM says the data is corrupted. These file hosts are plain evil. Seriously, if you don't want users to use download manager, then close the connection at start, not after 99% !!

Yeah, sometimes it's very buggy. Even a small interruption in network will fail the download. At least, in FF you can restart from where it ended. Sometimes it works for me.

I even signed up for a free A/c With Filefactory to use with JDownloader to no avail

Downloading from Filefactory via JDownloader is obviously an issue as several members face them while using this DL-tool.

All I can say is that downloading from Filefactory going conservatively via browser doesn´t cause (never did) any problems to me. Files come through at good speeds without failures related to completeness.

This is the case regardless of browsers being used (Firefox, Opera, Palemoon) - be aware that you should enable (accept) Filefactory while using Security-AddOns such as NoScript and AdBlock.
