Today only at our local Safeway owned supermarkets:

T-Bone steaks for $5 a lb.

I picked up 6 packs with 3 steaks per pack, will throw 4 packs into one of our two deep freezers, they will keep for one year.

Just look at one of these 6 packs: $15.85 for a bit over 3 lbs of T-Bone steaks.

Each steak is a bit over 1 lb in weight.

A 1 lb. steak like that will cost $60+ at a steakhouse.

It's not Prime or Choice Grade, it's Select Grade but we have purchased steaks countless times over the past 10 years from Safeway and never had any complaints about the quality of them.

None of them has ever turned out to be tough as shoe leather and inedible.

Yes the court order me neighbours took out finally expired on Thursday

So rustled up one of my infamous chili curry con carnes

That`s not a rating out of five , it`s a second helping.

Had the leftovers yesterday ,

Although remembered to health it up ,

A bit

Turkey salad for lunch ,

It`ll be roast garlic studded , crack black pepper "N" salt with rosemary covered shoulder O`Lamb tonight with fix`ns

There's a dish my wife makes she calls Kii-si-min. I'm not sure how ethnic it actually is, but it has a chicken stock and mince beef base and then she throws in her 357 secret ingredients. I could eat it 'til I burst

I am not so sure about this.

I don't like pumpkins.

The only thing I associate pumpkins with is Halloween and using millions of pumpkins to carve them into Jack-O-Lanterns.

I don't even eat pumpkin pies which are usually only eaten around Thanksgiving.

My 2 oldest daughters went on a school field trip yesterday to a poultry farm that raises turkeys and chickens for human consumption.

So that's what they look like before they are seasoned and roasted or fried for my dining pleasure!!
