Traditional Striptease

Bear with me if this post seems a bit long. I've been searching the memory banks for UK stripshows that were out on VHS in the 1980's and the early 1990's. Various clips have appeared on VEF for which credit is due (cueking particularly). This is what I've come up with so far.

Stripper of the Year: I saw at least two vids each with six contestants. One of them had a stage set and included Eileen Daly and the girl in the cowboy outfit whose stint was rather ruined by a couple of jokers in the audience. Alison Brown was in the other one in a pub. I've never had satellite TV so can't say whether they were out on video before TVX but I think that is the case.

Sunday Sport Roadshow: Filmed at the Circus Tavern, released in 1995 but possibly filmed earlier. There was also the UK Glamour Girl Revue which was a mixture of some of the roadshow film plus behind the scenes footage and interviews. I have seen a clip of the roadshow in Blackpool which looks like it was filmed professioanlly so there may be more.

Sunday Sport Tabledancers: Liquid Gold production possibly post 1995 but only just. Again filmed at the Circus Tavern.

Naked Striptease Sextravaganza: Apparently 1999 but find that hard to believe since I have seen it and would not have got permission to buy it (nor for several years before).

Sunday Sport Stunnas/Stunnas2: Even later!!

It would not surprise me if the above four were filmed somewhat contemporaneously and then edited, but that's just a view.

Pub tabledancers: There is a film of this on VEF somewhere, which I had not seen until it was posted, but I recall seeing at least one other in days gone by.

Hidden Delights - Live Sex Show: A somewhat ambitious title! I have to admit to having been conned as the box was legit but the tape inside was not and I got 45 minutes of some twat attempting humour whilst the girls danced out of focus in the background and probably the first 15 minutes of the actual show where not a great deal was revealed.

That's all I can think of at present but I will edit the post as and when new info becomes available. I have a recollection that I have seen live performance vids by the likes of Gilly Samson and Danielle Mannakken, amongst others which are not included above.

Please note I have deliberately left out the wet t shirt stuff as it was basically topless only and also the Great British Striptease Festival which has it's own thread (and is dire).

May I now invite you to search the memory banks and hopefully add to this compendium?

Definitely remember a compilation tape of these in the early 90's- might still have it somewhere. The set by the girl in the cowboy outfit certainly rings a bell. From vague memory, there might also have been one from Kerry Matthews, and a couple by girls (don't recall who) in nurse and French Maid outfits respectively

Oddly, I am not a great fan of 'glam' clothing.
I would rather see casual or formal wear.

One thing that always irritates though is how often hose & shoes are left on.

When that happens, one of the most erotic parts of the strip is omitted.

I like a strip to go from fully clothed to fully nude!
