Took a photo of these knowing they would be,
Bought them at a 7/11 on the way home from getting dragged into work for an hour, hadn't eaten all day and needed something, anything to get rid of that hangover feeling ... anyway nuked these, things Maybe, just maybe the wrappers might have tasted better

Sea Cucumbers.
Was in China last year and the clients we had took us to a restaurant and ordered for everyone and one of the dish was Sea Cucumbers. To them not only it's a delicacy: if someone orders it, it's like someone ordered caviar. In China if you are a guest at a table and they order expensive items that are considered delicacies to them, that's a sign that they respect you and trust you. Furthermore in China it's rude to refuse to eat anything your host orders for the whole party especially when the host is someone you are trying to secure a big money work contract from. |

In the coastal cities, they pick up sea urchins from whenever, the sand, the rocks, the bottom of a shallow surf, and they cut them open and eat them raw. I've eaten raw oysters and raw fish (tuna and salmon for sushi and sashimi) but that's as far as I will go with eating raw seafood. |

Couldn't put this in the Fav food thread, nor the pizza thread,
I bought a ready made, not frozen, stuffed crust pizza base at the supermarket, added some pepperoni only... 2 bites and in the bin it went

Those ready made pizzas here at Safeway and Central Market and even Walmart are better than the national chain's delivery pizzas and definitely better than any brand of frozen pizza.
Surprised yours was not any good. What supermarket was it? What are those? Never seen those here in the USA and I traveled all over this country and sampled all type of cuisine. |
