This is the full picture of the stand in for Ms Simmons that Mr Douglas used as a lobby card in Europe. As you can see it had no numbering sequence on it. As far as I can tell Mr Douglas was using T&A to try and sell the movie.

A more interesting question was in the European version of Spartacus. Ms Simmons was walking around the pond and then enters the water. The production notes said that she was nude. This scene was in the European version.

Mr Harris who did the restoration work on Spartacus interviewed Ms Simmons and asked her about the nude scenes. She said that she was never nude and always was using mole skin. Darn thin mole skin if you ask me.

The final question is what happened to the European version of Ms Simmons walking around the pond and then walking into the water.

A total mystery. It was around in the mid 80's but when the restoration was done it was not to be found.

I've always thought that perhaps S Kubricks estate may have the scene.
