Interesting to see that Poland feels embarrassed after opposing the re-election of Donald Tusk yet Britain didn't but it was Jean-Claude Juncker we didn't want and he and Martin Schultz are the ones I feel that will put a spanner in Theresa May's works and won't give her any deal-unless they adopt this idea that Guy Verhovstadt has had whereby Britain might retain some aspects of EU Membership for UK citizens who recently wrote to him saying they wanted to remain EU Citizens and I suspect many were students who wanted to keep the same freedoms of movement they currently enjoyed. Either way I can this being very bitter after Article 50 is triggered and if there is any deal done I for one will be very surprised judging by many of the EU countries' heads that don't look like budging from their collective stances.

Ed Sheeran rules the charts
This week Ed Sheeran dominates the UK charts – all 16 songs on his album are in the Top 20 singles, and all of his three albums are in the Top 5 albums: Details: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/singles http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39229400 http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/articl...inks-its-weird

Take that all you who think that being Ginger is a handicap I always thought he was a comedian until recently, I only twigged when a friend mentioned he had another album out, I thought it was a recorded gig http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39229400 "In its first week it outsold the rest of the top 500 combined and became the fastest-selling album ever by a male artist." Not my style of music, too MOTR for me from what I have heard, pleasant enough easy listening but good for him The ONLY person likely to beat that is if Kim Wrong-un released an album in North Korea and asked all those that liked him to go out and buy it

'Fastest selling album' because anyone in the world who is likely to actually to want to buy it will do so in the first 24 hours of release. After that it's just out there totally free for the taking, no real value anymore. 'Fastest selling' not 'biggest selling' |

Things I Noticed This Past Week
The price of Prawns, didn't need or want any, just noticed the price Umm, The dunny someone prick didn't flush at work The expired use by date on the milk I almost put in my coffee I need new safety boots Mrs called me a prick And the big one, found a place that sells cheap untaxed cigarettes from overseas that haven't got that idiotic plain packaging we use here, Manchesters form England I think $12 for a pack of 20, that's about half the price of taxed ciggies here.

On the wisdom of smokers I remember Denis Leary saying: "Doesn't matter how big the warnings are. You could have cigarettes that were called 'Warnings'; you could have cigarettes that came in a black pack with a skull and crossbones on the front, called 'Tumors,' and smokers would be lined up around the block saying, 'I can't wait to get my hands on these things, can you? I bet you get a tumor as soon as you light up.' " |
