@rlg118 - your two images of Ann Margaret Olson and Elvis Presley are completed (finally) and are shown below. The first of these took two days to complete, mostly due to the shear size and complexity of the photo. The other was simpler and didn't take as much time to complete. Let me know if you think anything needs to be changed.

I've been meaning to ask you Demsal, do you get any genuine pleasure in colouring the pics? Or are you just indifferent now when it comes to colouring in naked flesh, even for example "my" lesbian photos? Almost 2000 that you've done for us now.

Okay, you asked for it.
Back when I first discovered the internet, I did a little searching for a few things. I had already done a few coloring's of pictures, mostly from my family, going back to photos from the 19th Century. When I found this forum, it only took me a few days to locate the relatively new thread on coloring formed by Bruno86. I had retired a few years earlier and was just vegetating by spending my time on playing computer games which got boring rather quick.

Encountering this thread gave me another, more interesting pastime which soon took over most of my waking hours. I'd not qualify it as pleasurable, more as interesting, and very much in the category of a coloring book. I don't create the pictures, I just make them more interesting.

You must understand that when I'm coloring something, even nudes or pornography, I've found that getting interested in body parts will only slow thing down, so I keep my attention on the job at hand. Often I will take time off the direct operation to do some research to find proper colors of people or items on the page. I've done a lot of general searching of various things such as eyes and basic colors which you may find in some of the posts I've made here.

Do I have some favorites? You bet. I've created a file called my "Hall of Fame" which I add to on occasions. Here are some of those entries, many of which were "one ups," which i did because I got involved in the techniques required for doing the work. Here's a few from that file:


And one final one done as a joke for a user who was a fan of Page 3 girls. He messaged me one time and jokingly suggested that I might want to put some captions on the pictures to make them interesting.

I can understand why and how you've adopted the artist's approach to the nude female body. And I saw your seeming preference for the simple nude, which is why initially I was very hesitant in requesting the "Wrestling Pair" to be coloured, since I wasn't sure if i was breaking an "unspoken (or rather, unwritten) rule" given that we get an eyeful in it.

I did enjoy the wee sample of your work, and I must say you're bloody good at what you do!

Miss Page is quite a model and this particular image has a little history. The request was originally made by pb4htp, only he requested work on a much smaller version: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...&postcount=469 I knew there was a much larger version and researched and used that one from her thread to produce three different items. The first one was the large photo cleaned up in Black&White as good as I could get it. The second one was a smaller photo colored with a yellow blouse (assuming the user might not be able to handle an extra large image), and the third one was the full size photo colored with a pink blouse (as you have seen recently). All work was done in December 2010.
