Proper names should not be spelled differently and Pearl Harbor is the proper name of a geographic location. Conversely, I think American are dead wrong when they spell the Labour Party's name without the "U."

But it doesn't matter how you spell Pearl Harbo(u)r, it is still a great steaming turd in any English dialect. A short list of contentiously spelt waste products of the film business:

Pearl Harbour (of course)
The Colour of Money - give me The Hustler every time.
The Colour Purple - tedious, and thought it was really deep.
Best Defence: your best defence is the 'off' button.
Analyse This - Billy Crystal, Robert De Niro, your lives are finite. Why would you fritter them away on this?
Journey to the Centre of the Earth - it should not have returned.
Charlotte Gray - grey is a dull, dull colour and so appropriate.
The Picture of Dorian Gray - I know, Oscar Wilde spelt it ''Gray as well.
The Draughtsman's Contract (Peter Greenaway: another example of bollocks pretending to be high art).

I excuse Airplane because:

It is actually a very good comedy.
Also ''Aeroplane'' just wouldn't have worked....

Hey, I've got this great idea! Let's animate real actors and make them look crap!

It's worth watching just to see how BAD animation can be, especially if you bear in mind that it was made years after Lord of the Rings, and even Shrek.

I watched it! I still can't believe it. The Thunderbirds were Shakepeare in comparison to this. Forget all movies previously nominated by me: even Moulin Rouge and Mission Impossible II. Star Crash is as bad as it gets.

Caroline Munro is a Goddess. Her pictures taught me, as a red-blooded teenager I was male.
