The coke bottle hasn't gone for good, you can still get the good old glass ones (the design apparently based on female curves) but you usually only find them in resturants or upmarket cafes - I had a diet coke from one quite recently in the UK and I'm sure there much more common on the continent than here. In fact I have an empty one in the draw by the bed.... (don't ask me how to get a motor in there; I have no idea)
