Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. I was getting 1mb/s by 1fichier premium before. However it is decreased to 750-800kb/s. I have 5-6mb/s internet download connection normally. Why this bad things happens? What are your current speeds?

You'll never get your full "nominal connection speed". For me 700-800 kb/s looks like you're getting the same % d/l rate as me. No idea how much VPNs slow things down, but it stands to reason they can't speed anything up

Only because of infrastructure. Eighteen years ago we had dial-ups and max 64 kb/s, if you could pay for it. But now we have high-speed cable, and other things I know little about. I consider myself fortunate, but now everything's much faster
