Dana Dennis was active 1979-83 according to IAFD. She was also credited as "Jeanie" or "Amber Rose" (IAFD.) May also have been credited as "Dana Doe" and "Cherry Adams" (Blue Vanities.)

A reference here on Vintage Erotica indicated that she might have used the name Yvonne Daye. Based on the cover from Pretty Girls 103 and the listing on Blue Vanities of Yvonne Daye as the girl in PG-103, I believe Yvonne Daye is another AKA.

Another VEF denizen believes this actress' name is Diana Rogers. Diana Rogers is listed in IAFD as having appeared in BV197 and Feels Like Silk.

Wouldn't necessarily say it's the "elephant in the room," but Dana Doe did have a tattoo. (Even before I learned her name I called her "the cute blonde with the ugly tat.") They could airbrush it in a magazine, though it was always obviously airbrushed, but the only other way to hide it was amputation. Fairly large, quite dark rosebud, on her left forearm near the wrist. She had it when she got into the biz and had it when she departed. If "Diana Rogers" doesn't have the tat, she's somebody else. (Rogers' pic at IAFD looks more like a K C Valentine or Joanna Storm type than a Dana Doe, to me, but that's the only conscious knowledge I have of Rogers. Based solely on the pix, I'd say they're different people.)

Though she worked with other guys, Dana's S.O. seems to have been a guy who used the names "Tim Dennis" and "John Doe," a sullen-looking midwestern greaser type with a mustache. Deep in my archives is a mag I bought off the discount shelf in DC (the day after Hinkley shot Reagan, so it probably dates from 1980), which features him as a coach fucking two femme hoopsters in various combos. The story text unimaginatively uses the names "Dana," "John," and "Pam" (Jennings) for the three principals. Dana's tat is completely unblocked throughout the 32 pp.

I looked at the Kiss and Tell scene and the tattoo is there. The screen credits are "Dana Dennis" and "Tim Dennis" (hard to believe she might have married that ugly guy.)

I looked at A Fair Fare and the girl wears a long sleeve blouse through the whole scene, so it could have hidden the tattoo.

Looking at the two pics for Dana Dennis and Diana Rogers, I think the DD pic is a younger version of the DR pic. Hard to be certain though.

I first saw her in the Therapist and was sold. I think she was credited in that movie as Yvonne Daye (even though iafd her say Amber Rose). If I didn't get it from there it was from abep80s usenet group when she was being talked about many moons ago.

Ever since I've always remembered her as Yvonne Daye. I probably always will now.

I got a reply today stating "There were some issues with your note, and we could not process any or all of the items contained in it.". After checking, they appear to have done nothing. Having seen "Feels like Silk" I've no doubt, I can only assume they've not viewed the movie. Oh well one can try.

They say they'll provide 'clarification' on request, let's see what they say. I've directed them to this thread. If anyone has Feels like Silk AND Kiss and Tell to hand and can do a good likeness screen shot from each one please post them side by side. Otherwise I'll do it in a few days, I just need to dig them both up. The quickest path to proof is to tie these two together IMO

I have both Kiss & Tell and Feels Like Silk handy and it is beyond doubt that Diana Rogers and Dana Dennis are the same girl. Besides looking identical and having the same hairdo, each has a mole or beauty mark 3-4 inches above her right nipple.

I was intrigued and dug up the DVD. The only actual cum shot in the whole movie is a facial on Drea. I don't know how that compares with the copy here but it sounds like it's probably the same.

I've no idea if I've got the dvd as VCX produced or someone's encode. I get the idea this is a VCX hack because the navigation is locked. Usenet creations are rarely locked.

The menus also seem to be typical VCX.



From the Schratt post screen preview it looks very much like it's the same deal as far as the missing 6) & 8) scenes. His duration also shows 76 min

So it looks like VCX in their wisdom removed two scenes and possibly also edited out the cum shots (unless those were as per the original release and edited out). IOW a complete bastardised version of the original!

To my eye, the iafd picture of DIana Rogers, though not flattering, is a definite match with Yvonne (very much as she appears in SE417). While there is a close resemblance in the Dana Dennis picture, none of my Yvonne loops have her looking like that, and the nose seems distinctly finer than Yvonne's distinctively pugnacious but cute schnozz. What is the source of the face picture for 'Dana' currently on iafd? Is it possible that that picture isn't actually her, leading to some of the confusion?
