We hear when you have elections, but have no idea who the politicians are. We hear about bushfires & floods. Also about Asian refugees that AUS doesn't want. We hear nothing about your sports, because no one understands them Almost none of us will ever visit AUS, but many would like to Sometimes I ask what they would do if they went there, and most say they would visit Ayer's Rock. They are surprised when I tell them it's at least a week away from anywhere, unless they fly |

Try that one if you can get your hands on it, I can't say, haven't had any wine in over 2 decades now after a real bad experience with it, mixing it with beer, whiskey, vodka, coke and schnapps ain't a great idea But, everyone I know who has had it likes it

I remember that from an AUS-comedy song AUS wine is not cheap here. Few bottles available for less than $20. That's beyond me. I'm not sure I tried it in AUS, actually |

I myself was never a wine drinker and still I only drink it socially. I found American wine to be almost tasteless, and some French wine is good, but it tastes weird and I can't put my finger on what is causing the weird taste. Australian wine was introduced to me about 10 years ago, and the marvelous taste blew me away. This was a time when Merlot's were becoming all the rage.
My favorite Australian grapes are the merlot's and shiraz! |

I refer you to my post a couple of months ago about "Mojo" Shiraz. One of the best I've ever sampled but that was in Oz itself. No distributer in U.K. unfortunately but what about U.S.A.?
Well worth a try. |

Casella Wines make a very drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir under their Yellowtail label at a very reasonable ten dollarydoos a bottle.

I don't know what I'm more offended by? Only hearing about Asian refugees we don't want, that you don't understand our sports? When you think about it? It's just a small pimple of the face of Australia. It's no big deal |
